I'm listening to Eric Kuselias sitting in for Cowherd today and he blasted both Steven A. and Colin for those remarks. He basically is saying that there's a rush to judgement when no one knows the facts. He also said it's ridiculous to suspend Ben no matter what the outcome is, what if this is really another gold digger? I'll go with Kuselia on this as he was an attorney before going in to broadcasting.

Did you also hear both Mikes say that you cant suspend someone who hasn't been charged? If he is charged with a crime than I think he'll be suspended.Until then just let it go. BTW, I dont put much stock and what Smith has to say through his race baiting glasses.

According to ESPN..........Roethlisburger agrees to some physical contact with the girl. He says, She then fell and hit her head. This isnt ending well for Ben

Do you really think it was Ben's decision to talk? His lawyer supposedly knows what hes doing, so my guess is he told him to come out with a statement.

I said when I heard that I was worried. Think we had a discussion about you NEVER talk to the police without a lawyer.

I mentioned earlier about video cameras (security) catching a lot of this stuff and it didn't sound good, now there's stuff being said without the presence of attorney?

I'll say let's just wait and see but the stink is getting bad.

All you guys calling this girl a whore and gold digger should be ashamed of yourselves. Not everyone is a gold digger and as most of you said Ben should not be tried before the facts come out. Well same should be said about the girl. The girl may have just put herself in a bad situation and that might be her crime and the way it sounds she is paying for being there doing the flirting thing but that still does not make her a whore. Why is it ok to crucify this girl before the facts but not Ben. Ben has a history and IMO he probably did something to that first woman too but because of her past it was bad for the girl. No one knows anything about this girl yet. She may not be what all of you think she is. She may just be a girl out drinking and having fun and it went to far and Ben got rough when she said no. That too could be the way this all went down. My guess is that this is going to end up being her word against his because they are the only two that really know what happened. If he has nothing to hide then he should give up his DNA and if he doesn't well then everyone can speculate and he can deal with the repercussions. His DNA would surely clear him of any wrong doing.

Ben is 28 years old hanging out in a bar full of 18-22 year olds and worse he is there for one thing and one thing only. That right there is sad. I have nothing against older guys and younger women. Sometimes it happens and everyone lives happily ever after but this is not what that was. He may not go to jail but I still do not see this ending well for big ben.

I haven't commented on this, and most times when there are rape or sexual assault charges against an athlete, I side on the side of the athlete because often times there is a monetary motive. That's what I thought in Big Ben's first mess up.

With this, from what I understand, the girl didn't even identify him as "Ben Roethlisberger" or the "NFL QB", she just gave a description of his size and weight. This all looks really bad for Ben at this point, with him saying she fell and hit her head. With her going to police immediately. With him talking to the authorities.

The thing I don't get is, Ben has obviously dealt with a similar situation so you would think he would have a better understanding of what to say and who to talk to. Also, there were two law enforcement employees in his entourage that night, why didn't they step in and get Ben out of there?


Ben is screwed.
