Fining him would do nothing. I think they should sit him for a couple games. That would hopefully embarrass him to the point that he gets the message. He's already losing some fan base and endorsements, plus I dont think his teamates will look at him the same way anymore.

Karma's a bitch, ain't it Crapon. all the smack you talk on teams who swept your Squeelers this year, bashing them for their petty crimes. Now the face of the almighty Squeelers organization goes and does the lowest of the low: sexually assaults a harmless young lady. What a POS!!!! Doesn't suprise me that that's YOUR team.....

And the fans of the teams who actually beat the Steelers are more than capable of defending themselves. Too bad YOUR team couldn't do what the Browns, Bengals and Ravens did....actually beat the Steelers. I bet that 10-point loss to Pittsburgh stung pretty bad. I'm not stupid. You think I actually believed the Vikings could go to PGH and win??? Of course not. Now, I figured they'd come up with something a little better than a "tripping" call to erase a big TD but hey.....

Gotta take it how you can get it. Gotta do what you gotta do. Too bad your quarterback extends those ideas to the women's restroom, though.

Listening to Mike & Mike this morning they had an analyst from ESPN Pittsburgh on and this guy said the Rooney's are pissed. He expects a flight from over the pond into Pittsburgh where Rooney & son & Tomlin will sit down with Roethlisberger and give him the "what for." Topics were also brought up about the Steelers using a draft pick on a QB (as insurance) and the possibility of him getting released/traded if this is true.

The analyst also said that he highly doubts that the Rooney's will "self impose" any punishment on him and doubt that Goodell will either because he has a "friendship with the Rooney's and is 'fond' of the Steelers."

May have been mentioned but Screamin A. Smith was on Cowherd's show and said regardless of the outcome, Ben should be suspended.

I've heard more than once that the security camera tapes are anything but helpful to Bens case. We'll see what happens though.

The victims side in this case is being eerily quiet. No body really knows anything. On the Gotleib (sp) show they too brought in some DA from that town and she said nothing has been released and they don't even know what the complaint is actually addressing. There are tons of sexual assault charges that could be levied from touching to rape so they are not speculating. This attorney also said it is not surprising that they have been able to keep this quiet. She said if he is guilty then it will be tough for him to get off in that court system. They are a no nonsense bunch apparently.
