Hypothetical situation here, from a discussion with a friend.
I have two friends. Let's call them Felatio and Cunnilingus. Cunnilingus is a man who loves gifts that his girlfriend, Felatio, gives him. She used to give him gifts all the time, but since they've been together for a while, the gifts have slowed down. One of the reasons the gifts have slowed down is because Felatio feels that if her boyfriend, Cunnilingus, can't give her gifts, then she feels she doesn't need to return the favor. Cunnilingus liked giving her gifts at first, but only because he like the return gifts. Anymore, he just wants her to give him gifts. He feels that he doesn't present his gifts to her very well anymore. His gifts often smell funny, aren't wrapped well, and the paper is all over the place. So, what Cunnilingus has decided... instead of breaking Felatio's heart, and telling her that her doesn't like giving her gifts, he has just stopped asking for her gifts as well. He loves receiving them, but he feels it isn't worth it.
What would you do? My friend is having an awful time here.
