At most jobs I would agree with you but it wouldn't hurt my image at all with this company.

I think I've figured out what it is. I have an unpaid ambulance bill that I forgot about from my bachelor party back in June. I'm almost positive it is in regards to that.
No biggy then, just go get it. I missed the ambalamps/bachelor story...there should be a story behind that worthy of note.

A summons to appear would come from the court not an attorney.

If the letter is intended to collect a debt, I highly doubt the firm's first contact with you would be a certified letter.

Short version:

Got shitty drunk. Got knocked unconscious by a cop. Got arrested while being unconscious. Got sent to the hospital.

It covered most of it. I believe the total bill was around $550 and I owe around $110. I was planning on paying it, I just forgot.

I don't drink much since graduating college so I agree with you. Back then I could drink like a champ. Now I look at a wine cooler and I'm tipsy.

No sorry, it was just one of the biggest meltdowns on the old poli forum where I had people following me around in threads just to call me a liar.

You'd think they would call and be like "hey asshole, pay your bill" before sending a letter from an attorney.
