You need to suck it up. When I was your age, we worked 24 hours a day in Vietnam and didn't complain once. Your generation is ruining this country. I'm old and bitter, but I'm still a much better person than you and you(and the rest of the internet) better not forget it.

sorry, I wanted to give an Old Raider/Trooperden-esque response for old time's sake. [/nostalgia]

On a serious note, make the best of a bad situation and get some lulz in how you reveal your knowledge of their relationship. A couple good ideas have already been tossed out in this thread.

It's not just the Saturday..it is the fact that I'm working 2nd and then 1st and then 2nd while everyone else gets to stick to their normal schedule. How am I supposed to have any kind of normal or enjoyable life when my hours are so fucked up? I know there are people out there who have it worse...but this is completely unnecessary. It would be one thing if there was no other option or choice but that's not the case. It's Paul and Crystal's choice for her to work Friday night and then Saturday morning...I have absolutely zero choice or input into what I'm working. They sat down last night and made this schedule so that it will benefit them and their relationship. I know I shouldn't be shocked or surprised but I'm allowed to be angry.

First of all...you shouldn't be dating your employees and secondly, you shouldn't use your authority to favor that person if you do decide to date. Our hours are now based around them...so that they can hang out as much as possible. If you really think that is okay then I'm not sure what to say.

when did he decide he didnt want to work weekends and work more than 2 days a week(did that have to do with dating her or maybe another reason)? it seems like that change is the reason you are stuck with the 2nd then 1st then 2nd shift.

I agree the reason for the change isnt right and the boss shouldnt be dating an employee. but aslong as you know your schedule way ahead in advance, you can still have a life. i am used to this type of schedule because several of my friends work a very similar schedule and we have no problem hanging out.

Well first off, he tried to totally fuck with her schedule in the middle of the week last week. YOU DON'T DO THAT. But like she said, her boss and Crystal worked it all out last night while they were at work together.

Sorry, I just know what's going on more than most.

I'm not going to say anything to Paul's parents. I'm not trying to get anyone fired or in trouble. Just want to have a decent schedule. That's all.
It's called Blackmail. Let Paul know you know they're dating and use it to your advantage. Hours you like, raise, etc.

Unfortunately, that won't matter in her situation. Paul's dad defers to Paul when it comes to this stuff.

Why the scheduling changed is not the issue in my opinion. What was expected / agreed to when you hired on is more important to understand.

So the boss can have his sexual relations with his employee/girlfriend right on site in the honeymoon suite. I can picture... The Church Lady on SNL saying.... "How convenient"

Is it wrong? On the surface it appears to be, but by looking at the schedule you posted you are working quite a bit and should be making alot of money on top of it.

Do you have a beef? You do, but this was the wrong forum to voice your concerns.
Millions huh? then why do I see help wanted adds and know of places that are hiring. Might not be the job they want? Then heres your sign.

No not really. If Paul's dad found out he would probably fire her...or make them stop dating. But it's a small family owned business so Paul pretty much does what he wants. Including dicking me over on the schedule.
