Syracuse had a great win last night. What was more impressive was the 34,000 plus who witnessed the game. The inclement weather didn't stop these diehards.

What an awesome display of ORANGE!!!

Probably the only other school that could actually achieve that many fans for an on-campus game, and do so with the regularity that Syracuse does, is Kentucky. I'd be inclined to say that if Kentucky had a 50,000 seat arena on-campus, it wouldn't sell it out every game (mainly because half the seats wouldn't be court viewable), but that it would at least once or twice for an occasion such as last night's. Maybe Syracuse could, too. I've always been impressed with how much support that team gets up in upstate New York.

It was indeed an impressive showing.

Great fans. I've been to a couple Syracuse games but have yet to make it to the Carrier Dome. It's on my list of things to do before I die.

GO 'CUSE!!!

Kentucky would probably sell out their football stadium for basketball games. They had 24,000 at a pre-game TV show scheduled for 11 hours prior to the game. No other school would do that.

You dont really think he believes that do you. If so your a retard. He takes blows to UK and Purdue every chance he gets. He may be ticked at IU, but his hatred for those schools hasnt waned.

You really have to appreciate the "Dome Ranger". The guy was probably drinking 10 hrs before the game, does his pregame hoot and holler on the floor right before tipoff, then during the game he would sprint down the aisle behind the benches fist pumping to rowl up the crowd, every two minutes! First you'd see the Orange mascot, then right behind him was the Dome Ranger.

Bobby Knight is awesome. I love that he still hates UK and shows it. He was a part of that heated interstate rivalry for decades, and it's great that it still means something to him.

If it weren't for Brand's power hungry personal agenda ... well, I guess it doesn't matter anymore. He's dead. I do feel bad for that.
