Ohio State in contention for a Big 10 title after losing Evan Tuner for 6 games and a Big 10 schedule that was less than favorable at the beginning..

When I watched his fall I thought he would be out at least 8 weeks and might not return to form this year. I'm glad I was wrong on both counts.

Carolina possibly in the CBI and not the NIT and Brian Zoubek finally turning into a formidable presence inside. Without his emergence, Duke isn't the favorite it is to earn that fourth No. 1 seed. He's played fantastic the past month.

But I'd give it to Roy becoming perhaps the first or second coach in NCAA history to have a losing record the year after winning a national title. With games against Miami, Duke and Wake Forest, Carolina loses at least two more (probably all three) and then gets put out of its misery in Greensboro two Thursdays from now, to finish 14-18.

Nothing about this college basketball season has been good.

Id probably have to say New Mexico (Steve Alford) having such a successful season. Im thrilled he is succeeding as a coach, but glad he isnt at Indiana.

For me its been Brian Zoubek finally becoming a player who actually has done something more useful then 5 fouls a game.

Also UNC doing so poorly has been fun to watch.

I have enjoyed big monday immensely this year. That is likely due to the success of the Big East.

Carolina got the big win today in Winston-Salem to "improve" to 15-14, so so much for my 14-18 prediction. They really put forth some effort today, though, and earned the W.

I'm a huge college basketball fan. Things I've loved watching...

-Evan Turner coming back and beasting it.
-Jon Scheyer maximizing every ounce of his potential.
-Kentucky's freshmen.
-Chandler Parsons' clutchness.
-The chemistry at Syracuse. They're the only team I've seen this year where chemistry seems visible and audible as you watch them. Not that other teams have weak chemistry...theirs just feels that strong.
-Scottie Reynolds.
-The "Big's"...East, Ten and Twelve.
-UCLA, UCONN, and UNC all taking one on the chin. After recent multiple titles by UCONN and UNC and UCLA's monopoly on West Coast tournament success, the spotlight is being shared. They'll all be back sooner rather than later.
-Greivis Vasquez still being a douchebag, but one that's really good at basketball now.
-Ohio State's wing play.
-Michigan choking on dick.

Yes. I still haven't talked with anyone I know that actually saw the 70-footer happen. And I have a lot of college basketball followers as friends. I consider myself lucky to have seen it. That was best finish to a game this year. Overtime to boot.

There hasn't been a best part of the season for me. I have spent the entire season watching my boys from Dayton self-destruct. We are within a dozen or so points of being ranked and of being a shoe-in for the NCAA. I can't believe any team could lose so many games by such close margins.

Watched almost the entire game. Not a lot of people watch FSN hoops in January during NFL season haha. I'm glad I wasn't alone.

Lol, true. But the Super Bowl takes a back seat to Sacred Heart-Miami (FL) in my house. ACC hoops is king here:) I'm sure you're the same with the SEC. Although I know you are a Bengals fan.

Basketball consumes my life, though. So no other sport has a chance, even though I do like most sports.

I like the Bengals, Reds, Blue Jackets, college football, etc...but college basketball season trumps it all. SEC hoops is by far my favorite thing in sports.
