1. Cleveland
2. Orlando
3. Boston
4. Atlanta
5. Toronto
6. Miami
7. Charlotte
8. Chicago

1. Lakers
2. Jazz
3. Nuggets
4. San Antonio
5. Oklahoma City
6. Dallas
7. Phoenix
8. Portland

Cavs/Bulls--Cavs in 4.
Hawks/Raptors--Raptors in 6. Hawks no answer for Bosh.
Celtics/Heat--Celtics in 7. Good series, D-Wade is great but team doesn't step up enough. People finally notice Michael Beasley.
Magic/Bobcats--Magic in 4.

Lakers/Blazers--Lakers in 5. Brandon Roy is good for one big one.
Spurs/Thunder--Thunder in 7. Spurs can't keep up with the youngsters.
Nuggets/Mavs--Nuggets in 5. Lawson is surprise of series.
Jazz/Suns--Jazz in 6. Nash and Amare don't make it easy.

Cavs/Raptors--Cavs in 5. Too many guys to throw at Bosh, no answer for LeBron.
Celtcs/Magic--Magic in 6. Everyone finally realizes that Boston is not as good as advertised.

Lakers/Thunder--Lakers in 4. Lakers can keep up with the youngsters.
Nuggets/Jazz--Nuggets in 6. Billups and Birdman play great D on Jazz's stars.

Cavs/Magic--Cavs in 6. LeBron will not be denied. Big men play well on Howard. Mo Williams hits some big threes. Boobie has a showing in one of the games. LeBron has "one of those games".
Lakers/Nuggets--Lakers in 5. Nuggets can't handle the post season version of the Lakers.

Cavs/Lakers--Cavs in 6. Lakers have no answer for LeBron--the Artest move fails and a lot of people finally realize that the way to guard LeBron is with a guy like Ariza and not a physical guy like Artest. Kobe plays great, but his bigs can't handle the Cavs depth. Shaq inspires people with his level of play at his age and shows you that he's still got it when it counts.

MVP: LeBron
Finals MVP: LeBron
ROY: Tyreke Evans
6th man: should be Andy. But it won't be, but I don't even care about this award. Might as well be a starter, 6th man is almost always a finisher, and thats more important than who starts the game.
DPOY: Howard. When you lead in the two biggest defensive categories it's hard to deny you. LeBron will get some consideration though.

Offseason: LeBron signs with Cleveland. Shaq and Z both stick around. Team is back for next year. D-Wade signs in Miami. Miami has a great offseason without signing one of the big stars. Bosh signs in NY. Danny Ferry is relentless and pursues any option to get better still. Cavs go into next season as a big favorite, but it'll be a whole new season.

I don't think Andy will win it. I do think he should get some recognition for what he does though--he deserves it. A lot of guys hate him but I get it, I'd hate him to if he wasn't on my team. He's one of those players. He just plays so hard and he's really improved his game and REALLY helps this team tick. I suppose he could be in contention for most improved player.

Yeah, I can't see that. But hey, some people can't see the Cavs either. Predictions aren't worth shit anyways, just fun to see if it plays out the way you said it might.

For some reason I could see the Celtics making it from the East, but there is NO WAY they would beat the Nuggets IMO.

BUT they won't be there anyway so no biggie.

I had to bring this thread back up because of all the hype I'm hearing about the Bobcats lately. I understand that they've looked pretty good against the Cavs in the regular season, but do people honestly believe they're good enough to beat the Cavs in a 7 game series? Or even test them? I think if they were, then they wouldn't have to worry about playing the Cavs in the first round, they'd be able to get over .500 and move up in the East. I can't believe how many people think this is a legit upset possibility.

I don't know if they could win it, but I'd definitely watch those games. The Bobcats have played them very well. I think they would be interesting games, but with Cleveland pulling them out in the 4th.

Please explain to me how any of my predictions outrageous or not possible

Just because you don't like what I have to say doesn't make me an idiot.

All of my predictions have a very good chance of happening

Durant's only shot at MVP is LeBron getting hurt.

Orlando can't beat the Lakers

LeBron isn't leaving Cleveland, especially for a team from the NY/NJ area.

That's the only problems I see with your predictions.

Those are your opinions...just like my predictions are my opinions

Contrary to what you Cavs fans think...the MVP award doesn't have Lebron name on it yet

Durant is just as deserving as Lebron...maybe even more so

A very good chance of happening? Haha, okay lil gibby. Please don't confuse possible with probable. I'm willing to bet that half of that stuff will not happen. Have you seen LeBron James play this year? Are you smarter than a 5th grader? One of those questions most definitely has to be answered with a no if you honestly think Durant has a "very good" chance of being the MVP. He's second on my list, but King James just lapped him. What makes you an idiot is that you lack the common sense to come up with an educated guess. When ESPN talks about the upcoming 2010 FA class, just change the channel. You sound like a brainwashed fella. As for the series, I don't agree with them, but they could very well happen; so really nothing on that front that borders outrageous.
