I think he is trying to understand the inner workings of the company he is president of.

That's what I'm getting out of it.

The point isn't to like screw the little men by getting in the middle of their gossip and gripes, it is more to understand (and maybe even appreciate) what he is having the lowest of the low do in his company.

yeah, he has basically been white collar his whole life it seems and is getting an idea for what its like at the bottom. he is finding both good and bad things out about the way his company is run.

"Thought: The premiere of "Undercover Boss" already aired. It featured Roger Goodell disguised as the QB of the Colts for the entire 4th qtr."

Pretty funny from Mark Titus.

yep. great concept for a show. A lot of times, people with money start a company without ever having to do the meanial, "lowest" jobs themselves and work their way up; they just start at the top, assemble people to hire the "pee-ons" and run the buisness end of it. Now, he has to do the actual manual labor, the stuff that makes the company, well, the company. Pretty cool so far.

Not sure I have ever noticed WM porta pots...

It also kinda ticked me off to see the regional manager giving the company President responses like he was giving.

Good stuff so far. I think too many times Presidents or Big Whigs lose sight of what people really do for sub 24k a year. Wish a few of my bosses would have gotten on this show.

This.

Glad that they chose this angle on it rather than boss goes undercover to try to catch his employees slacking or whatever.

Some pretty touching real life stuff.

i wonder what he is going to do about that first manager who had the 2 minutes for every 1 minute late policy, he seemed pretty ticked about that.

Are you seeing the previews for next week? That Hooters manager has to get fired for his "reindeer" games, what a douche.

Wow, next week looks good with Hooters. i doubt that boss who made them compete to leave early(atleast that is what it looks like) will have a job after this show.

Going to be cool when he reveals who he is.

Trash picker guy that "fired" him and trash truck girl who bitched about corporate might be a bit embarrassed.

It's not so much that, he was just talking to him like he was an employee under him, not trying to explain why she was so overworked. He just talked to him so "this is just how it is". That would get you reprimanded with the quickness with me.

This show is freaking awesome. The chick that fills 4 or 5 roles that only gets paid for one position definately got what she deserved.

lol no shit right. Ur CEO asks you to change something and u just sit there and eventually say "I don;t think that's something that can't be changed"? lol. No you say, yes sir, we'll correct this immediately.
