We only had 25 total medals in 2006. Already with 18 and the Olympics don't end for another 10 days.

The Canada/Switzerland and Russia/Slovakia games were phanomenal.

As far as the men's figure skating is concerned, read this:

http://sports.yahoo.com/olympics/vancouver/figure_skating/news?slug=es-thoughts021810&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

Stojko is an idiot. He knows what the rules are. I'm a former pro figure skater and I agree with the judges. Plushenko can jump but his overall skating is weak. Lysacek is the better skater; he played by the rules and won.

anyone hear what they said about the female cross country skier from Slovenia? i watched her races after she had that bad crash in warm ups and she looked in pain. but i just heard that she finished, i believe two races after the crash, and won the bronze with a punctured lung and 4 broken ribs.

its about time, the men's team has been choking away wins at an alarming rate. its about time they put in the alternate and shake things up.

So what is so funny about that? I toured Europe and South America as a principal skater with Holiday on Ice.

What have you ever done?

Bode Miller has sure got his head out of his ass, taking silver in the downhill. (2nd medal of the games)

Glad to see him perform to his potential. Apparently he just needed some time to mature.

I would like to try snowboarding, but with my artificial hip, I can't do anything like that, not even skate any more. I really envy those people who are out there competing in all the events.
