Great job Riders! I guess someone forgot to tell the boys from Orrville they were suppose to lay down and lose this game by 30+ to a far far far superior Genoa. Maybe that's why they play the games. Go Riders!

First off i'd like to congratulate the comet's on not giving up and playing with such heart and passion in the 2nd half tonight. It's a mark of your character that you didnt give up and fought till the end.

As for Genoa fan's how do you like your crow served? After listening to the cry baby whiner's in the Genoa section all game I hope it's rather salty and very bitter. I've never listened to a group of fan's whine and complain like I had to listen too tonight. Every single play that didn't result in a Genoa touchdown or big gainer people were bitching and moaning about the ref's, how unclassy orrville was or just about anything in general.

I'm sorry that the Comet's season had to end this way for the player's but for the fan's....... mmmmm crow.

Sounds like the typical Genoa crowd. After living in a neighboring district for many years, you learn to expect that from them and to tune them out.

Local news didn't have the highlights, but said the game ended with Genoa missing the extra point? What happened on the play?

I thought it was good and was stunned when they said it was no good but from the home side it's hard to tell on the far pylon in the south end.

This was one terric football game between two classy teams. Everything was left on the field by both schools. Congratulations to an amazing win by the Riders. A few Genoa posters made a reference " Orrville who? - they shouldn't even show up." High school games are won on the field not in these communiques. Looking for next weeks game with eager anticipation.

Class? Tell that to #30 Hillabrand....he must have had some jock itch or something, because on 2 separate occasions, he was gesturing towards the Orrville side. Think Roseanne Barr after she sang the national anthem. He's too talented to be acting that way. Win with class and lose with class.

Credit to Genoa for playing hard and coming back....you just knew they would. But more credit to the Riders. They had an answer each and every time they were backed into a corner.

How bout that Miller kid? Big play after big play. And speed to burn.

On to the Regional Finals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to O-Ville on the huge win.
After watching Genoa in week 11(replay on tv) I really though they would win big this week. Again I was wrong.

Hey boys....I found ya...lol.....Reading the article in the DR this morning, then looking at Dorksen's comments and found out about the site. Cool

Way to go Riders! Pretty good for a team that didn't stand a chance huh? Awesome passing game. We needed one of those.
I'm sure Tre wanted to be involved more running, but they shut him down pretty well.
Defense...awesome!

Let's keep it rollin' Riders~~

So how did the game end?

Someone was giving me updates and said it was 35-36 with a minute left, and then told me that we lost.

Great game Riders! Genoa showed a ton of heart and has my respect. Hillabrand is one heck of a player but the gesture's he made toward Orrvilles' crowd tell me that his immaturity may be detrimental to his future. Learn from it son, learn from it.

way to go raiders!!!
i was listening to the game on the radio and it sounded like genoa was going to make a stunning comeback, but am very glad they didnt.
Also...where are the genoa fans? did they quit because they finally realize they're not all mighty and powerful?
maybe they should have gotten the thought of posing for another post game picture in the gym out of their head and maybe they wouldnt have gotten beaten.
Don't get me wrong im not making excuses for them...they needed a little butt whoopin to keep them in check...good luck to orville...take it to Ottawa-Glandorf for me!

Atleast the drunk Genoa fan's didnt make it down to the field last night and start taunting the orrville player's like last year's round 2 game.
