My best friend played football and baseball over there a couple years ago. Went there to visit a handful of times.

You'll enjoy Chapel Hill, great college atmosphere and a lot of events going on in the Triangle area. If you want the ocean, the ocean is just a couple hours away, if you want the mountains, the mountains are just a couple hours away. If you want a big city, Charlotte isn't too far and DC is a good road trip on I-85 and I-95. Very good tradition and happy student body.
