Ytown....irregardless of how long ago it was, students don't forget these things. I'm certain that the players will take care of their business in a respectful fashion and i'm sure the adult fans will as well, but what about the student sections? Personally, I'm a bit worried of what might potentially escalate after the game in the parking lot or elsewhere when students start jarring at each other. And for you to say you have absolutely no worries about potential incidents indicates that you are oblivious to reality. It could happen! And the reason there hasn't been any trouble between Mooney and Poland since that incident 4 years ago is because the athletic directors did a fabulous job of nipping the situation in the butt and preventing these schools from playing in regular season matchups.....The lack of matchups has minimized almost all confrontation between these schools aside from the occassional playoff pairings. This was in no way intended to blame anyone for the incident. You have been criticizing my facts all along, which is fine. The intention of my post was not to investigate who's fault it was 4 years ago. My intention was to provide some substance behind the reason why Poland and Mooney have not been on each other's schedules the last 4 years. If you don't think it's true then go ask Poland's AD. I'll bet Poland fans know him better than you do and understand his reasoning. Good luck to your Mooney Cardinals this Friday. We can argue all we want about this incident, but I have a feeling we won't be the ones who need to worry come Friday night. Let's hope our respective students sections behave as we would expect them too. I'm dropping this discussion from this point forward so that we can get back to talking about the game instead of past incidents, scheduling, and the decisions of athletic directors.
I'm going to go out on a very thin limb and say that the Dogs give Mooney all they can handle in this one and pull off the upset of the year

Yes, I know it's wishful thinking, but i've got to stand by my Bulldogs.
