Maynard, could you also please assist Junior/Visa/JJ, hell I don't which name HE is going by today, in the art of spelling and grammar. For some reason, they must not teach them that up in Carroll County.

I can try but i'm really concerned with their ability to learn.

We'll start with Visaboy: memorabilia... not memorilbilia. Let's practice Visaboy... repeat after me m e m o r a b i l i a.

Now Visaboy, was he in?

Have any of you guys even been to the stadium? There are tons of seats, and the school is on the edge of town with parking galore. We've had home playoff games with pretty much the whole town in attendance and everyone found a place to park and sit.

You are correct about the locker rooms. They are small, but I'm pretty sure you guys are more concerned about that than the kids will be. Consider yourselves lucky to be backing a team that is 12 - 0. There is a field to play on and that's all that should matter.

I think you're right. I believe we're all going to be pleasantly surprised because it seems like the stadium has had quite a few upgrades since the google/mapquest aerial photos were taken (some were 2006). You gotta understand that last week the Oak Hill vs RW game was one of the few if not only playoff game on grass. We didn't like that too well because our boys are fast and slashy. So, we're a little leary of this being a 2nd rate facility also. Personally, I think it'll be fine.

I will say that after seeing the Verns JV team this year, it will be so nice to go back to the good ole days next year. Back to the Wood/Vern games that are blowouts with the Wood winning.

Johnstown will be just fine for this game. I want to thank them now for the fine job I know they will do for both teams and fans.
For all the complainers, how about waiting till after the game.

For every ones info the State semi-final will be played at Canton Central Catholic's Lowell Klinefelter Field. Another fine facility that has hosted many playoff games. 5-17 vs 5-19

I don't post over there anymore. Just payed the 12 bucks to read, and Junior said he might go back there to get away from us, so I will be there.

I don't care if I have to sit next to Tommy Thompson and have to park a mile away, it will be a great game and the WOOD fans will be there in full force!

I will be looking forward to the halftime show by the numerous time champion Marching Generals!!! Hopefully the Freddies have a good band. The only band that we thought would have given us a run for our money was Malvern and we kicked their ass to the curb.

I'm not too concerned about the venue, just glad the guys get to play on carpet this week. When the fans are there in force every field we go to feels like home. Personally I'm just glad we are not headed south again this week.

Another poster noted earlier that there is bleachers in the end zone that seat more than our band can fill maybe if we are more courteous than we have been on here they'll let us put our students out there with the band...That would get the house Rockin!!

I don't know much about the majority of fans from Ridgewood, but I sure hope they aren't like most of their posters on here that haven't even been to Johnstown and are dawgin' it already. I haven't really noticed any complaints from the Fredericktown folks. Good thing they get the home stands....they deserve it more!!! I get sick of reading "why can't we play somewhere else instead?" Just because a school has turf, doesn't always mean they want/can host. It's a ton of work for the hosting school and if you can't get enough volunteers to help park cars, take tickets, work the concession stand, etc...you can't very well host then, can you? Looking forward to the game and a shredded chicken sandwich.

OH GOD NO, whatever will we do without your support for this game. We were so much counting on it. Darn. I may as well stay home now. No sense going now, can't win without xnds1fan's support. And by the way "whinning" is spelled "whining"
I'm still on the fence, may the best team win. Thanks for the spelling tip I need all of the help I can get.
