This is what playoff football is all about...two undefeated teams playing for the right to go to State. What are your thoughts?

Also, what are the likely locations for this game?

Does Newark or Zanesville have a location with field turf?

I am under the impression that OHSAA wants field turf if at all possible.

I believe all games after the first round are supposed to be on field turf unless it is not possible.

Congrats to both teams for being 12-0.

Not sure but I think Zanesville's might be...Coshocton plays there today against AC. We haven't had a turf playoff game yet.

Go Wood from this Coshocton fan!

It will probably be Zanesville but I'd like to see the game played at New Phila. I think the Wood matches up against the Freddies better than they did Oak Hill

Best of luck Ridgewood...the two best teams in the IVC continue to roll on. Both may play in Zanesville this coming weekend.

Not really sure why, but heard that Johnstown could be a possibility. More of a home game for the Freddies but OHSAA never makes sense.

I am giving the slight edge to F-Town in this one.
A low scoring game with a six point spread.

I am really thinking of taking this one in if it is at J-Town.

Agree, W.T.F.? Frederickstown gets a pretty much home game in the regional finals. Second time OHSAA bones the Generals. Field at Lancaster was not what they should be for a second round playoff contest considering the locations of other games. Oh well, play the cards you're dealt I guess, but it's B.S.

Fredericktown has already played on that field once this year when they played Johnstown in the regular season. They are in the SAME conference for pete sakes. That would be like Ridgewood playing at Newcomerstown. What a crock. Another bonehead decision by OHSAA. Why not have it at Zanesville? Some posters on other forums said it would be at Johnstown, but I thought they were full of crap. Looks like OHSAA is playing favorites once again. I wonder who on the site board is a Fredericktown graduate? Use it for more incentive Wood and go kick some Freddie butt. It is turf I hope!!

Don't know how old the satellite photo from google maps is but according to that photo no, it's not turf and the visitors side bleachers look to be able to accommodate 75 people or so. Nice.

I don't know how large the stands are, but Johnstown's field is definitely turf. Not sure if it's old style astroturf or field turf.

I agree...somewhat unfair location wise, but I guess the Freddies are the number one seed. If it's going to be closer to one school or another, it should be Fredericktown.

Not sure what was wrong with Zanesville...that seemed like a reasonable compromise.
