Oh yes, Graywolf has risen again!
gochiefs, lets keep this forum to talking about the game and not about the garbage bantering between huddlers like what goes on in "other" threads, lol
Dover needs to limit the penalties and missed tackles and absolutely must take advantage of any turnovers Steuby might give us or they will have their way with us. Penalties kill any team and Dover found out that when you go up against great athletes like the ones NW had last night that if you don't hit them square and wrap up, they will turn a 5 yarder into a 50 yard gain in no time. As far as the O-line protection, it's hard to stop 6 guys blitzing when you've only got 5 blockers. Hopefully we don't have to go 5-wide too much next week. I'd really like to see Dover run the ball more with that power I formation against Steuby, and how about Ifft busting out the wing-T last night???!!!! When you've got the personnel to do it, why not try and run the ball all night? I'd be perfectly fine with Dover taking 4 yards a pop each play and controlling the clock all night.
IMO, the reason last night's game was close was because NW had a very good passing attack. From what I understand, Steuby is a running team, which makes this weeks game very interesting because Dover's strength is its run defense. NP and HC found that out in weeks 10 and 11. Steuby is leagues better than both those teams, but if Dover can hold Steuby to less than 150 yards as a team, and can find out a way to muster up a couple of scores, this should be a very exciting game.
My prediction is 14-13 Dover, but if Dover makes as many mistakes as they did last night, this could be 26-7 the other way very easily.
Go Dover!
