Northwestern scares me... not sure what type of road team they are but they're scary good at Welsh-Ryan... do we have to make a trip there?

I guess things aren't all doom and gloom since we're back to .500 in the league but we still have a long way to climb with key games left against Michigan State, Minnesota, and others...

I don't believe OSU travels to Northwestern this season.

In any event, this should be a much closer game than people (who don't understand how much Northwestern has improved) think.

I think the score will be relatively close but it should be clear that OSU dominated the game. OSU has tended to get suckered into the slowdown Northwestern style so I definitely won't be surprised by a low scoring game. I think it should be similar to the Wisconsin game, something like 61-53.

Northwestern has picked up the tempo this year. I believe they're at least in the Top 5 in the nation in assists, and have an outstanding PG. OSU defensively will struggle mightily against the Carmody-Princeton offense, but I don't think anyone on Northwestern can matchup one-on-one with Evan Turner. Should be a great game...

The next five games look like this:

1/23 @ West Virginia
1/27 @ Iowa
1/31 Minnesota
2/3 Penn State
2/7 Iowa

I like our chances to take 2 from Iowa and beat Penn State and I'd like to think we beat Minny in the return game.

The line on this game is 12 1/2, I think that is too many, Nothwestern is a good shooting team and very disciplined. I think the Bucks win but it will be less than 10 points. Turner is too athletic for Northwestern to handle.

I think OSU rolls in this game by 10+ since its at home. OSU just finished handling a better Wisky team, just as disciplined and better coached. And that with Turner possibly playing his worst game in a LONG while. I highly doubt we will see Turner struggle in back to back games. I think he goes off tonite. Just hope OSU is NOT overlooking NW heading into a big OCC game with WV.

Doesn't look to be a big crowd on hand tonight. This is about as good as they have played on both ends of the court in a while.

Will the announcers please quit saying, "Evan Turner is well on his way to another triple double" when he only had 3 assists at the half. They just made another comment about how he is closing in on it and he has 4 assists.

Not that he won't get there, but quit talking about it.
