This sucks, Conan is ten times the comedian, writer and host than Leno is!! Leno is old and his comedy is stale and only funny to the older generation!

Leno didn't fail at 10pm for no reason.
Conan late night on Fox automatically makes them a major player in the late night race. Would be a good move for him. Just go back to the edgier/off-kilter stuff; I'm sure he will have that leeway at Fox.

NBC is saying it was a mistake to move Conan to the early slot, and then again to move Leno to 10. But that wasnt it. The problem was making Conan be so damn PG-13...ridiculous for them to think Conan would be as funny when he cant be what made him....

And Leno at 10, well that was just never gonna work, no matter what. Especially as a variety show.

If Conan leaves NBC,I say good for him. As long as he keeps the same type of comedy, I will gladly watch him on Fox, or any other station for that matter. I hope the whole thing continues to blow up in NBC's face and that they fail miserably. I hope Leno on at 11:30 is terrible too.

Conan has a contract. It says he hosts the Tonight Show, but does not say when it will air. He can say whatever he wants, just like Josh Cribbs.
If he goes to Fox, he will sit, probably for a year or more, unless a cash-strapped NBC accepts a buyout. If he does, would he get the half-hour head start with an 11PM start-- most Fox outlets air 10PM News.

Reported last night that if Conan wanted to, he could go after NBC about the contract for close to 20 Million $$$$$.

I don't think I've ever laughed harder than when he first started doing the walker texas ranger handle.

The Arnold clips are comedy gold. I will follow Conan to fox in a heartbeat.

Conan really couldn't have handled this any better. He's exposing Leno's lack of talent, and overall shady tactics, which people in the comedy circle have been familiar with for decades, to the masses. He's also calling out NBC for having arguably the worst management in the history of major broadcasting. I absolutely love it.

Ideal scenario for me would be an O'Brien-Kimmel lineup on ABC. Then we'd actually have the two funniest guys(now that Letterman is past his prime) on one station.

Fuck Jay Leno. He's terrible, and his writers are not funny at all.

I'm on board with whatever Conan wants to do...but I don't necessarily like the idea of him doing an 11pm show on Fox. He'd be going up against John Stewart and Stephen Colbert. While I think Conan is funnier than both of them, I still think it would split up his ratings too much.

Interested to see what happens though with this whole thing.

Jay Leno sucks. I was upset when it was announced that Conan was going to take over for him because I knew he wouldnt be able to get away with the stuff he did at 1230. Masturbating bear? Money shot Abe Lincoln? Those are just a couple clips that he would NEVER be able to do at 11 30. I hope that Conan finds his way back to late night.
