They're only cool when you are hauling a 50+ ft toy trailer with living quarters or a 50+ ft horse trailer with living quarters.

I assume you're referring to the smoke stacks in the bed? I agree..I love it on Diesels..but I just laugh whenever I see a gas truck with smoke stacks in the bed. But the stacks don't affect you're gas mileage or anything like that though.

I like the F650's..but all the things he did to it just ruins the looks of it IMO.

It's the trucks with like 6 foot exhaust pipes that get to me. I mean, that's not necessary or cool in the least. But who am I to judge if people love wasting their money on things that use more gas and...waste their money?
You mean stacks on a diesel?
No, when people go out of their way to make the stacks on their truck huge. You do not drive a semi-truck and you don't need semi stacks.

This kind of thing:

And again, it's not like I really care but I just think it's a bit tasteless. Unless there is some sort of practical reason that your exhaust pipes could probably double as a medium sized apartment then you probably shouldn't have them.

I'm not going to go into a whole dissertation, but it actually does serve a purpose. Diesel trucks move so much air that a large exhaust system is advantageous. While I don't like stacks, but the improved exhaust flow does help the turbo.

Yes..they do serve a purpose..although..unless that diesel is modded up a bit..there is no need for stacks THAT big. That just looks ridiculous!

Like I said, unless you have some real need for that extra power ( I'm willing to bet most don't as I usually see stacks like in the picture on trucks that I would safely bet aren't used for any or much work) then the stacks seem pretty stupid to me. I guess I'm just not one for much excess.

So then you think every modded car is stupid?

BTW, besides the stacks that's a pretty sweet Duramax

Most of them, yes. Very few people mod cars in a way that is appealing.

If you want to see an example drive by the Sheetz in Alliance on a Friday night. There will likely be several Cobalts/Civics with huge spoilers and stupid amounts of neon lights revving their exhaust modded engines all night.

Edit: I do agree that the truck I posted is pretty cool looking without the stacks.

Actually the Cummins 5.9 is the best, but there is no better combo than a LB7+Allison.

The powechoke 6.0 and 6.4 suck and the 7.3 eats transmissions like a fat girl eat cake.

Put the Cummins in the Powerstroke = GOAT. Remember rumors flying around about it a few years ago..but it never did happen. Man that would be a great truck.

No one's mentioned a Del Sol yet, or as it's also known, "Half a convertible is better than none".

I once had to take a 1,000 mile round trip in a rented car. It was a cherry red PT Cruiser. Driving through Kentucky was fun...I did exactly the speed limit to no cop could stop me and tell me what a purty mouth I have.

Not sure how many times the Miata has been mentioned on here, but come on, who wouldn't wanna drive a Miata like this?
