I enjoyed for sure. Definitely left me wanting the next season sooner rather than later.

I will say that overall the series was "meh". I would watch it if it was on, but never DVR'd it or made sure to watch it. Couldn't even tell you what night of the week it was on.

However, the last episode, to be honest, is one of the best TV episodes in the last decade or more.

He, obviously, finally gets to the point where he met their mother...and without spoiling it, it really is an emotional episode.

If you guys like Sci-fy, 12 Monkeys will not disappoint.
I just learned something new last night.

At some point (I think it was 2009?) the original director of Stargate SG-1 reshot some scenes and re-edited the first two episodes of SG-1 season 1, Children of the Gods (Ep 1 and Ep 2).

They released it to DVD as a movie like it was a sequel to the original Stargate movie.

The ending actually is an "ending" like in a movie as it was not setup to continue the series like originally.

I am somewhat interested...I hear they released it to Youtube for a limited time back then and then DVD.

I may have to rent it on Hulu (that's where I saw it last night) to see what they changed from the series.

But yes, a woman screamed because Trump won and a guy humped his tv because Trump won. A great portrayal/analogy of what happened IRL.
I'm going to give it a shot, but I don't know if I will watch the whole season. I only watched 15 mins of Scandal before I turned it off.

Just finished Ozark....awesome show.

I've been casually watching Disjointed and Friends from College. Both are decent and good for a few laughs.

To me, Ozark is one of the best ones out there. Hate when people nitpick about various things... it's a damned TV show!

I have no idea. Maybe I saw it (I watched the entire series on DVD), but not sure. My guess is you take away the magical sarcophagus and it's over, then maybe shoot a celebration scene.

Heard it sucked and changed too much to make it more "family friendly". Remember originally SG-1 was on Showtime and was rather edgy. Shoot, Share' was nude in the first 2 episodes somewhere.

Watched the Deuce last night. I loved it. Fans of the Wire and David Simon shows will also love it.

Yeah, I was on the fence as I'm not a huge James Franco fan. But watching it, I was sucked into that world of gritty, dirty 1971 New York. It's classic Simon.

Not sure if I missed it, but has anyone been watching "The Sinner" on USA? Features Jessica Biel and Bill Pullman. Kind of an odd show, but I think it's really good.

Close-ended, 8 episodes. I think the 7th episode airs on Wednesday.

The last few things I've seen him in, I really liked. As a person, he strikes me as an absolute tumblrina and drama queen, but he's won me over as an actor.

The last few things I recall seeing him in were Homefront, Good People, and The Adderall Diaries.

The movies themselves were nothing particularly special. Homefront was pretty good, and I thought The Adderall Diaries was okay. Good People kinda sucked as a movie. However, in all three movies, I kept thinking that one of the brighter spots was Franco's acting in his character. Not to mention the fact that he's essentially a protagonist in one, an antagonist in another, and a sort of antihero in yet another, so the man's got some range.

Finishing up Band of Brothers. While I'm incredibly late to the party with finally getting around to watching it, it ranks up there as one of my all-time favorites.

Not quite as good as BoB but I think that is because many try to compare the two.

They are making a third installment taking on the Air Force, well Army Air Corp at the time...right?

It's probably not. It is different, and amazing in its own way.

I don't sleep much. I'm actually gone from home quite a bit. I'll get about 2 eps. in per night, and one in the a.m. I'm an early riser and a night owl. Everyone goes to bed early, so I'll start eps. around 9:00. Wake b/t 5:15-5:30 every day for coffee and wind up time.

It's more a documentary than tv, but anyone else going to check out the epic new Ken Burns film on Vietnam this weekend?
I love all his stuff and cannot wait for this. I've heard nothing but great things about it.
Also, wondering if Belly is going to check this out?

Anyone watch CNN's The Nineties? I thought it was fascinating.

And I believe one of the people in it is/was on here at one time.

I caught one episode of it, the one on Bill Clinton. I thought it was well done and yeah, interesting and very watchable.
