He also said his plans to retire in Cleveland have gone unchanged FWIW.

I didn't vote for that x candidate and my feelz aren't hurt. I provided my take. I already have tried to move on twice, but you won't stfu about it.

Also funny you are a "new" poster, yet you know about "feelz."

Ok cool, we can put it in the politics forum.

Anyone else shocked that the media is casually hiding Lebron's retirement comments?

Well, certain people are dumb who voted for Trump. A good number here in Carolina are all up in arms about his presidency thus far, acting surprised. Uhhhh...what did you expect? He has been this way since he announced!

Nobody is dumb for their beliefs/political feelings. But you are a complete fucking moron of you thought Trump would be anything but what he has been the last year since winning.

And Christ, thought this was the Anthem thread, where we have let some political talk slide because of the recency and broad nature of the topic.

But on here, I'm going to delete all posts that are political in any way from here on out.

Good lord this, no one who voted for Trump gets a pass, hence why I agree with LBJ's uneducated point. If you voted for Trump, you own it. Looking at you Rex Ryan.

Why the fuck did the cavs invite Kendrick Perkins to camp? Also, was Cedi Osman there? I'm intrigued to see what he can do.

Wondering the same thing with Perkins. We don't have many roster spots open. We're going to have to cut Felder and Tavares to even roster Aziziazazizizizizzzoc and Crowder.

As for Osman, Amico had this to say:

15. Most scouts I’ve talked to say the Cavs should be considerably more excited about rookie center Ante Zizic than rookie swingman Cedi Osman. Zizic appears ready to contribute at this level and the Cavs could use some help underneath. He’ll get an opportunity.

16.
As for Osman, I sure don’t know whose minutes he will take. With a glut of experienced guards and wing-types, the Cavs don’t need Osman right now. He’ll have to knock coach Tyronn Lue’s socks off to even get much run at practice.

So, we won't see him this year since Lue only likes to use about 8 guys on his roster during the regular season.

Osman is a 6'8 white dude that specializes at attacking the rim in Europe. I can't imagine he'll have much success in the NBA. His shot is poor and he ain't getting to the rim here.

Osman is known for his energy and defense. He might be another guy we can throw at Durant in the finals

My issue with this take is the dude is skinny and weak. No amount of effort is going to overcome that in the NBA. So therefore he's an automatic offensive liability and will get abused by a physical player making him a defensive liability as well. I just don't see a path for success for him.

Skinny, weak guys have done alright in the league before. KD couldn't bench 185 coming out of college.

where do I even start with this mess...
Well Durant was already bigger than osman and 4 years younger. Durant was able to mature and put on 20 more lbs. that's not in osman a bag at 23 years old.
There's not many skinny weak guys without the athleticism and ceilings of Kevin Durant who've made it. If you're suggesting Osman is that than man we've really lucked out.
Cedi isn't anywhere near this level obviously. Cedi is already older and his game is pretty well established. He's not maturing and changing like Durant did and obviously was going to.

He's not saying Osman is the next Durant, SQ. He's simply stating that skinny guys have done well in the NBA. So your comment about him being a failure because hes a skinny white guy is just stupid.
