Miami doesn't have shit to give. NY Porzingis & Melo were mentioned. SA? The only thing I'd want would be Leonard and I think that's unrealistic. Minny? Wouldn't it be ironic if Wiggins ended up back here?

And again I can't put all blame on the FO. NBA players are dramatic as fuck and they are normally pulling the strings to fuck uo a good situation. The cavs aren't the first team to go thru this.

No kidding it's not all on the FO. This is a collaborative effort.

92.3 had Russillo (sp?) from ESPN on and even he implied this was a bitch move by KI and called him a "strange bird."

I keep saying it, but the owners gave all the power to the players during the CBA negotiations.

Meanwhile, most NFL players, which is THE most popular sport, get screwed in many cases.

I know the NFL has their issues (i.e. goodell being a POS), but they are the better product for fans, because they don't let the players run the league.

Not to mention the culture of the league is "PAY ME." 95% of the time we see players leaving in FA only because they are getting a better offer financially.

LeBron needs to call RW and recruit him. Cavs trade KI for Russ.

If he wants away from Lebron (to be the focal point) why does he want to go to San Antonio? Or Minnesota where he will have to share the spotlight with Butler and KAT?

That's crazy smh. In other news looks like the kings are putting an offer for kyrie, giving up fox and koufos plus picks and possibly more. I wouldn't mind that deal at all. Fox is going to be a stud

No chance would I trade Kyrie Irving for a rookie.

They better get a damn good haul for Irving.

Too bad they traded cousins for a bag of beans. I'd take Cousins and Fox for Kyrie, and then Cousins would BF the warriors in the paint as we win our 2nd championship.

Would Pels trade for Kyrie?

I'd even try and get assets they wanted from a KI trade and ship that to NO if needed. Then ship Love out somewhere for a PG, sign Melo when he is bought out. Lol. CHAMPIONSHIP!

But seriously, I'd try and get Cousins from NO.

No way in hell the Knicks would give up Porzingis for Kyrie. Melo doesn't want to be there so he will be gone soon. Kyrie wants to be the focal point for a team, and this will mean no other big names(top 15-20 players) will want to go there. Knicks would be stuck with Kyrie and that is it.

Kyrie for Cousins works financially and for the Pelicans, Kyrie and Davis is a good core to build off of. However on the Cavs side of things, with DMC being an expiring, once again the franchise is at the mercy of LeBron signing an extension. He signs, trade for DMC,but until then any move involving Kyrie should involve established players with contracts that would keep them in Cleveland, post LeBron, with a mix of a good young player or two.

Disagree completely. Cavs are in a year to year mode for titles. Who gives a fuck about 2018-19? Go win a title next year.

I do agree with wizuhrd that they shouldn't trade 3 years of Kyrie Irving for possibly one year of a star player.

Whoever they trade Kyrie for, better be here for 2+ years.

As long as LeBron is here, Cavs will be win now year to year basis. As soon as he leaves/retires, they are gonna rebuild. Not trading for Cousins would be dumb just because he has 1 year. Either you like Cousins (or anyone) and think he helps win a title or not. If yes, make the deal if not, don't make the deal. But it shouldn't have anything to do with years.

But that's just my thought process. I'm sure most disagree. But, to me, there is no "future" with the Cavs past LeBron. It becomes an immediate rebuild.
