I use this CMA stuff for the concrete (the blue salt) and Calcium Chloride for the driveway (blacktop)

Trust me I have been to the hoa meetings a few times but since I am younger they don't give two shits what I say. P's me off to no end, summer is no better, you go for a bike ride and tree branches hang over the sidewalk and smack you in the face if ur not careful, not to mention they only water/cut/maintain the model home it seems like. I am a slow payer when it comes to paying them to say the least. It took them 4 letters from an attorney before I paid just to piss them off.

Luckily for me, I live on a Street with Two Houses, Mine and someone across the street so shoveling is not really necessary

have 14"-16" on the ground here on my campus and classes are still meeting, everything is open for business as usual. Supposed to get a lot more before Sunday

B/c a loaded semi can handle snow a helluva better than our car/trucks. More weight. Much longer. Not as hard to wreck a semi in the snow as it is an everyday car. Besides..do you know what semi drivers go through the rest of the year? I say driving 60 in this weather is there 'payback'. Nobody gives semi drivers respect or courtesy when it's dry out..why should they give others respect or courtesy when there is snow on the ground?

Which part do you think is overdone? As QCB stated..the morons that always cut them off..the best is when they first cut them off..then slow down. News flash people..those thinks can't stop on a dime. Not giving them room to make their turns..again..these things don't turn on a dime either..hence the 'Wide Right Turns' sign on the back of all of them. Of course..I don't drive semi's...so it doesn't affect me any..this is just stuff observed on a daily basis.

Um, ok? I don't get paid to drive trucks because i don't want to drive trucks.

Both semi drivers and us "regular" drivers can be great at times and real shitty at times, but don't act like it is only the people driving passenger cars that act like idiots. Both do.

Not trying to be a dick...but semi drivers can be pretty disrespectful when it's dry out, too. Nothing pisses me off more than when two or three semi drivers play their little leap frog game and decide to pass each other going up a hill, backing up traffic for three miles.

Bottom line, like cbus4life said, both types of drivers can be shitty and annoying at times. It's not just one or the other.

I just think it gets exaggerated. Where do you live/work that you see it daily? And like others said, truck drivers can be assholes on the road too.

Also, I think the people you refer to are just bad drivers in general. They do stupid shit to passenger vehicles as well. They aren't picking on commercial vehicles.

This, plus When the sign says " Left lane closed, Merge Right"(construction zone) They really mean it. Why do you think you can drive in the left lane and jump in at the last minute? Is the 3 MINUTES you save that important. If you would just move over when you first see the sign, traffic would flow through, BUT.... NO..... people think the can beat the system and wait to merge. Fine! But don't be pissed at me when you get "shoved" into the barrels at the end! Why pass a truck in the last 300 feet before your exit ramp? Whats wrong with staying behind someone for an extra 4 seconds? When I turn my signal on to move to the other lane, I really mean I'm coming over. I had room to do it until you decided to be a moron and "gunned it". Why cut me off? Is the 3 minutes you save mean that much? In my 11 years in a semi, I have logged over 750,000 miles, hauled over 60 million gallons of petroleum, and had three accidents, none of them where my fault and the driver of the car was cited each time. And each time my day was totally shot by a dumbass that had he/she just thought alittle they wouldn't have had a new car to buy and I would have ended my day alot sooner.

Not exaggerated at all. Just pay attention to others around you on the road. You will witness it. No denying truck drivers can be assholes too. But I'd imagine I'd start to be too if I had to put up with some of the crap they do all day long. I live in NE Ohio..travel to SE Ohio quite frequently..you see it all over. It's not more prominent in one part than that other. People just don't know/care that semi's aren't like your normal passenger vehicles. Of course..they'll learn quickly how fast a semi can stop when they have 20-40 tons coming through their rear windshield.
