I mean coming into the league, since all it matters for Browns is their first year.SportsAndLady;1851521 wrote:We don't know who's worse yet lol ones a rookie and ones a second year player. Going to be at least another 3 years to make that call.
I'll say this, we all liked the wheeling and dealing we did with the Eagles, but I'm still saying I'd much rather be in their QB position than ours.

As it stands right I'm happier with the Browns position. Still think Wentz is not going to pan out.SportsAndLady;1851521 wrote:We don't know who's worse yet lol ones a rookie and ones a second year player. Going to be at least another 3 years to make that call.

Wentz would be the best qb on our team for this year, but I'll take all of the picks we got for him than him still.

I agree. Wentz is average at best, imo. Which sounds nice for the Browns, but still couldn't get us any more than a playoff game. I also think the Texans will be a top 10 pick, but 4 seems a little too high.like_that;1851523 wrote:As it stands right I'm happier with the Browns position. Wentz doesn't even get the browns to 5 wins.GOONx19;1851527 wrote:I agree. Wentz is average at best, imo. Which sounds nice for the Browns, but still couldn't get us any more than a playoff game. I also think the Texans will be a top 10 pick, but 4 seems a little too high.
Also icl, no way Wentz would be our best player.

I thought no way either, then though, how far down would he be? Who else would you have in front of him?like_that;1851528 wrote:Wentz doesn't even get the browns to 5 wins.

Speaking of Kirksey, a friend of mine runs a little blog called Deepish Thoughts. He said on there today that he knows for a fact Kirksey was signed to a long term contract and it'll be announced in the next two weeks. I'm not saying to take it as fact, because he could be full of shit, but I do know that he has a contact within the Browns FO. If it's true, it means our entire defense is locked up for at least two more years. If Garrett can come in and be what we all expect him to be, Gregg Williams could have some fun with that defense this year.

Based on last season, not sure that's a good thing.SportsAndLady;1851534 wrote:Speaking of Kirksey, a friend of mine runs a little blog called Deepish Thoughts. I think Shelton should definitely be on that list. Thought he had a strong year last year.Sonofanump;1851531 wrote:I thought no way either, then though, how far down would he be? Who else would you have in front of him?

This bitch has been stirring up shit for the longest time. Had no idea she was still in radio. Assuming it's all bullshit, I hope Peppers & Joe Thomas sue her and own her, her children and her children's children. Talk about irresponsible "journalism."

I got a good laugh reading her since-deleted tweet where she said her quotes were taken out of context because someone replied "you were on the radio; those are your actual words" or something to that effect.BR1986FB;1852434 wrote:This bitch has been stirring up shit for the longest time. I heard part of it and the guy she was on with (think it was Rizzo) was trying to get her to backtrack. I knew she said that stuff about Peppers but when I saw that she said it about JT, I was like "WTF?" Dude is a "good old boy/outdoorsman type." I don't see him getting his purple drank on.Heretic;1852500 wrote:I got a good laugh reading her since-deleted tweet where she said her quotes were taken out of context because someone replied "you were on the radio; those are your actual words" or something to that effect.

Every time I see something new pop up, for some reason, I always think "whatever happened to Justin Blackmon?" I knows it's odd & random, but for some reason they are connected at the hip, to me.like_that;1852508 wrote:http://www.sbnation.com/2017/5/11/14876118/josh-gordon-denied-reinstatement-by-nfl-browns

I don't think anything. Haven't heard anything new. Pisses me off that the turd Martavis Bryant can get reinstated but not Gordon? Thanks, Rog !Azubuike24;1852514 wrote:What did Gordon do now?

Having 1/2 the infractions might have something to do with that.

Also say all you want about how Gordon is a dumb fuck and brought this upon himself, but can't we all agree that the dude has done his time? He hasn't played a snap since December 2014.

So Gordon was reinstated before, but chose to check himself into rehab to prevent a backslide, right? Now when he applies for reinstatement, he gets denied?
That doesn't make much sense, especially since he has had no type of violation since the last time. Either there's something that hasn't been made public, or Goodell is just, well, Goodell.
