I agree with this. Everybody's got a price, they're just saying the price is at least a first rounder, not that they expect anyone to actually pay it. The Bengals have plenty of legit reasons to make fun of them, this is just a smart business move.
Think of it like when someone asks what it would take to get one of your favorite fantasy football players (I know this is a stretch but if you play fantasy football you'll know what I mean). You might throw back a ludicrous offer because you don't really want to give them up, but if you do you're going to be well overcompensated for it. Same as someone asking the Bengals the price for McCarron and the Bengals asking for at least a first round pick.
