On another note....how many more years for Brady? That son of a gun keeps himself fit as can be and a health nut...and a decent QB.

It's pretty incredible how good he still is....2-3 more years would be crazy but very doable if he chooses
Brady says his goal is to play until he's 45.

Brady can play as long as Bill is his coach.

There are several QBs in the NFL that have Tom House as their throwing coach. He was a baseball guy that is convinced that he has a training plan that can extend the life of QBs if followed to the T. He was also Nolan Ryan's throwing coach and baring some nasty physical abuse from taking shots from defenses he believes that the effectiveness of a QB can still exist into their 40s.

Here's an old article addressing some their views.

Aside from playing with arguably the best WR and RB, he'd be especially silly to retire with the bengals trending downward, the Browns always a few years away, and the Ravens just meh. They're seemingly a lock for the playoffs every year.

Reminds me a lot of Nicklas Lidstrom. Dude won his 7th Norris Trophy(NHL DPOY) at 40 and retired after the next year still had it athletically

Just because you can still play at a high level doesn't mean it's not extremely taxing to do so.

Twitter is saying TBW is out all of 2017 as well. Must have been one helluva knee injury.

That sucks. They did mentioned at the time it was a very severe injury but I still expected to be back. Makes sense why they gave up what they did to get their QB.
Wish him the best but if he misses two years man that is rough.

It needed to happen, but it definitely sucks when your favorite player of the last decade gets released.

Question..is Drew Brees an alltime great QB? Is he a top 5 QB? Top 10? Outside of the top 10?

What?

Easily top 3. I'd only put Brady and Peyton ahead of him. No question he's a top 5 QB all-time.
