We all have those people. They're mostly benign, but once in awhile, they go full retard.

A handful of my FB friends are nutjob tin foil hat wearers.

Interestingly enough, they are the same people who said Obama was going to take away all the guns and are now proud to have elected Trump.

I don't have much in the way of WTF. One of my friends is a middle school teacher who last week was posting memes about how winter break was almost over and how awful it was. Like the rest of us with real jobs who don't get off two weeks for the holidays are suppose to give a shit.

I have 2 or 3 friends that have been going full retard the entire time Obama has been president. Strangely they have not stopped. And now I have a whole new set of friends that are going full retard about Trump.

I also have at least one flat earther/the moon landing was faked/911 was an inside job friend just for the lulz. I do like that guy but the shit he posts is ridiculous.

I have two friends in real life that are hardcore flat earth guys.

I refuse to discuss the subject with them. I'm not playing in that pile of shit.

The ones who spent the last eight years whining constantly about Obama who are now laughing about "liberal tears" kind of crack me up due to their lack of self-awareness. As do the ones who, somehow, are still feeling the Bern.

The only one who really annoys me is an elderly woman who used to be a co-worker. All her posts tend to be weird religious chain-letter shit. That she sends via Messenger, so my phone dings, I think it's a friend and it winds up being her sending some lame-ass shit I don't have time to bother with.

I have some that will post every single pro-Trump/republican article they can find, even if they are 100% inaccurate. And they also post every single anti-Dem article. It's ridiculous. I'm convinced they don't read any part of any of the articles.

My worst is a guy who posts obvious fake news articles and then when people tell him its fake news he will respond with something like "Not sure if its fake but its interesting".

The thing with Trump is I used to be able to auto-filter political fake news fairly easily but with Trump sometimes reality is stranger than fiction.

This is like most of my family right now and especially leading up to the vote. My dad is illiterate and posts things that 1) don't make sense and 2) are from fake news stories that he's taking as fact.

I really enjoy sending him links to show what he's posting is wrong.

One of my 2nd cousins on FB the day after the election, no words to express the stupidity.
I am so upset right now its hard to put into words... I have always been proud to call myself an American , not so much today. We now have elected a racist, homophobic, sexist (and many other horrible things) for our new presedent. As a rape and molest victim I want to thank you for now making it all ok. My beautiful daughter will now have to live in a country that any boy can just come up and violate her. I am horrified today. I am beyond pissed and cryed this morning when I heard the awful news. This has nothing to do with politics, trump is just a horrible person.
I wanted so bad to reply with "you can't be intellectually honest right now to believe that all the sudden rape is "ok" right?" But I figured I would just walk away from that grenade and leave it alone.
