Right I'm sure private schools self selecting high performing students with well funded parents has nothing to do with it. And the US was #1? LOL. Yeah that hasn't been the case since Europe rebuilt itself after WWII.

US will continue to fall until religion becomes a fairy tale that it is and we focus on STEM education. Look no further than Finland or Sweden if you want a successful education model.

Why can't you just own it? This is what you wanted, this is what you voted for.

I'm not sure what Planned Parenthood, a place for low-income men and women to receive medical care, has to do with this topic.

I voted for Rubio... but we still all own the child of 8 years of progressivism. You want to abort it. You need Planned Parenthood for Presidents.... They can also counsel you in how to prevent other 'accidents '... Soros will fund!

I must admit, it is amusing to watch someone saying in all conviction that liberals are to blame not only for the failings of Democrats, but the failings of Republicans, as well. As someone living in a rural R-heavy area, it really seemed to me that a lot of conservatives were either for Trump from the beginning or jumped in head-first behind him when he got the nomination, leading to the general election being the same 65-70% Republican voting as it always seems to be -- in other words, roughly the same as it was here for Romney, McCain and Bush.

But that's partisan politics for you: Everything is the other side's fault even when it's obviously your side's fault. The Rs are the ones who had 20 or so candidates, ensuring that the guy with the best sound bites would be the only one standing out in an overly-bloated pack (playing into the hands of Trump, the natural showman) and the Rs are the ones who had candidates with no chance of winning who continued sticking around way past their expiration date, ensuring that Trump would be able to keep his momentum as king of quips and zingers in a group of stodgy politicians who had no idea how to react to him until it was too late for anyone else to catch him.

That is simple reality and no amount of misplaced blame can alter it.
