Oh, I know I don't speak for everyone but you're one of the few. Hell, I don't think even the key players (LBJ, KI) think they can beat GS in a 7 game series after the addition of KD and this Finals.

I doubt they do a major shakeup at the end of the year, regardless of what happens in this series. They will make moves but the core of TT, KI, Love, and LBJ isn't going anywhere. I'd be surprised if JR was shipped out, Shumpert is likely on the block.

There just isn't much cap space and not a lot of useful talent for the rest of the league. Griffin is a wizard though so who knows.

Sounds like we have a little "drama" for tonight. Apparently, when Durant hit that 3 pointer to put the Warriors up late in Game 3, Steph Curry squatted like he was taking a dump on the Cavs floor? Cavs players were pretty pissed.

Where do they come up with this stuff? Did anyone else notice this?

No you do. IMO Cleveland pressured by Lebron tried to make a team that could run with Golden State, problem is that's a nearly impossible task.

Cleveland has to create their own identity and become a team that can disrupt Golden State, instead of some very good offensive team that cannot defend

Highly disagree. Cleveland doesn't win that series unless Lebron has arguably the greatest 3 game stretch in Finals history. Sure Golden State added Durant, but they maintained a good bench while Cleveland gave out shitty contracts and has arguably the worst bench in the NBA

Your argument is that Lebron played great, so they wouldn't beat them (Kyrie did as well fyi)? lol, ok. Lebron played great in the 2015 finals as well and by numbers he is playing pretty well this year too. I think it is safe to say the Cavs can count on Lerbon. The Cavs cracked the code last year on GSW's roster last year. If the same teams met, I would vote with confidence that Cavs win in 6. Hell, I would bet that a healthy Thunder or Spurs knock GSW out in the WCF. KD going to GSW completely changes everything.

After having that 73 win team BEAT at OKC.

Lebron handled this question well with the media, on how what KD did was different. While Lebron was a jackass in the way everything went down, he (and the Heat) had to build a roster, even though it was a damn good roster. KD just jumped on a super team that was already put together... Fuck him.

I have no doubt in my mind that, without KD, this could have gone down of one of the best finals in history. And the way the Cavs steamrolled the east, I think they'd have been the odds-on favorites.

I don't know that I'd say "arguably the worst bench in the NBA. Earlier in the year, I'd heard that the Cavs had one of the deepest benches in the league. The guys that they added/have are more specialists than anything. I think they added some of these guys to combat last year's Warriors and kind of underestimated the impact KD was going to have.

I do agree with your earlier comment about a defensive identity. I think the mindset this year was "we're just going to run you out of the gym and screw the defense." That works against 28 other teams but GSW's are a different animal.

I still contend that this series wouldn't be as one-sided had the Cavs tried to play more like Game 7 (last year's Finals) than the games they got blown out in (up tempo).

Larry Brown lol? Going to talk about Detroit here but I remember when the Pistons won in 2004 how heavily favored the Lakers were. Detroit just absolutely suffocated everyone while letting Kobe and Shaq get theirs, and if not for an OT loss would've easily swept LA. Heck I'll never forget Game 3 where they beat LA 88-68 and Phil Jackson looked totally lost.

I know this Golden State team is a different animal but the point remains you have to attempt to beat up and bully an offensive team like this. Regardless of personnel I think we can agree that the Warriors are getting far too easy of looks in this series
