Can you bundle internet with it? We do AT&T U-verse because we can put cable, internet, and home phone together. It gives us one bill and isn't too expensive. We need internet at home, but we could probably do without the other two.

I bundled through Verizon. Land line (for security system), internet, and DirecTV for about $128/mo.

We also have DirecTV..have had it for about a month..love it. My wife and son watch it more than I do..I don't watch a whole lot of TV. I'll watch a couple movies a week..but that's about it...I could do without cable/satellite just fine. Although my son would try to stab me in my sleep. Couldn't do without the internet though. I wish I could..as I spend way too much time online...but unfortunately..it's a source of income for me...so I must have it.

I have passed it by the significant other but she can't give up some of her shows. I could really care less although like others have said I would miss certain programming.

I think we currently pay ~$110/mo. for cable, internet, and phone from AT&T. I'll call this evening and see if we can talk them down an additional $5-10/mo. or so.

I just got off the phone with AT&T, and they agreed to lower my bill by $10/mo. I was nice and just told them, "I thnk $44/mo. is too much for this. Can you give me a discount?" And they did. Definitely worth asking.
