Wow, Prenot just got edged from lane 8. The outer lanes are seemingly faster than normal in these olympics. Only .4 separated gold from 6th place

I am still dumbfounded by how ugly the USA women swimmers are. Shallow as fuck of me but also what guys do. They mostly have that Katie Smith beauty.

I guess it's fair to note Smith has 3 gold medals and her lookalikes Ledecky and King will be collecting gold as well.

Surprised that Lilly King almost missed the 200M Breaststroke semis. I think she was like 15th out of 16 qualifiers. Hopefully she can get it goin again.

Pretty ridiculous for an 18 year old to win the Men's 100M Free. That was impressive by Chalmers.

Because one does not qualify for the Olympics only on looks.

Hope this helps.

Chalmers pretty impressive and still a teenager. Adrian had an incredible kick off the wall but couldn't hold off the young guy.

What athletes do you expect to fail drug tests, be it immediately or a few years down the road? Samples are kept for 10 years, I believe.

Interesting article from a couple months ago.

23 athletes competing at Rio Olympics fail London 2012 drugs retest

What is the purpose of holding for 10 years?

Maybe every Jamaican sprinter. Some of these swimmers I'm sure.

As the chemists compose new drugs, it takes the testers time to detect it.

Fair enough, you'd think they'd be within 3-5 years of the chemists

I would be interested in a cheater's olympics. Every substance is legal. Records wouldn't count but would be fun to watch the genetically enhanced go at it.

Phelps is gonna have a battle on his hands with Lochte and Hagino in the 200IM final tomorrow night. At least the 100 Fly semis are afterward, but then that will also be difficult since that race is less than an hour after the 200IM.

Can't wait to go watch athletic events and everyone is walking around with gigantic super hickeys.

I compare them to that tape the volleyball players used to wear...it started showing up a bit but quickly faded away because it didn't do much.

Yeah, I don't know how much any of that stuff actually helps, but I don't care what he does as long he gets the job done.

If Pereira stays with Phelps and Lochte tomorrow that building will come down.
