That's probably my top "feel good" moment of the olympics so far.

Phelps swallowing lumps on the medal stand. 22nd gold medal and it's starting to sink in it appears.

For me, this is really great, but it doesn't top Beijing for me. Between the relay comeback against France and the 100 fly where he looked dead to rights...8 events, 8 golds....I can't say this is betterIronman92;1806900 wrote:I'm enjoying Phelps domination this year more than the other Olympic games.
I'm also enjoying the laboring of him trying to get out of the pool.

8 for 8 was so fun, because even though he was favored, it made each race so much more exciting trying to go 100%.
This is a very close second, especially if he gets Gold in the Fly.

I've just grown to like him more and more each time. For whatever reason I wasn't a huge fan for a long time but now definitely loving what he is accomplishing.slingshot4ever;1806910 wrote:For me, this is really great, but it doesn't top Beijing for me. It is all about 100 fly...USA isn't losing a medley relay...that will be Adrian, Phelps, Murphy, and whatever breaststroke they choose

I know they lost to Canada early. Do they qualify for the knockout round with a win here, or are their more matches?Ironman92;1806928 wrote:Holy shit...the men are 3 1/2 feet over the net lol
