I kinda saw that potential as I read it but left it. You guys all know how to handle Iggy.

What's funny is on the flipside Ironman02 read it and cussed me for potentially jinxing Phelps.

Still shocked that Franklin is struggling like this.

Main even is next.

Franklin done. 7th in semis.

Dirado 2nd and might medal tomorrow in finals. Hosszu is dominant.

I still feel that Pereira is going to add to this excitement....he might be 5 seconds back after a terrible strategy but I think he can push for bronze and MAYBE hang near Phelps/Lochte.

I think Phelps beats Lochte by a body length.

Watch out for Hagino too. He should be right there in contention.

Phelps usually seems to edge out Lochte, but Lochte has had a less strenuous program in these Olympics. He should be pretty fresh overall, which could play a factor.

Hagino for sure but I don't think he'll add to the crowd excitement unless he is all over Phelps.

Lochte has to clean up his backstroke to have any prayer of beating Phelps, could cost him a medal if he doesn't.

Fucking annihilation.

What the hell happened to Lochte though?

Damn, Phelps looked good. Hagino was insane the last 50, Wang out of nowhere for bronze. Lochte struggled the last 1/2 and Pereira ran out of gas as expected but was game for much of the race.

He looked nervous as fuck. He locked up a bit. His backstroke was better but his breaststroke lost some ground and didn't have the gas for the freestyle.

That was incredible. Just gotta swim a decent 100 Fly and then relax up until the final tomorrow night.

It's pretty crazy that through all the hype, le Clos and Lochte kinda locked up and faded, but Phelps just keeps delivering time after time. Doubt we ever see anything quite like this again in our lifetime.

Phelps will be fine in 25 min. If it were 200m I'd be a bit worried but Phelps has a world class aerobic capacity...he'll be dead tired but he'll advance easily.

When I see Phelps, I just think of The Mariner from Waterworld. He has to have gills and I know his hands are webbed lol.

If it were the final, it would be different. But he should be able to still get a top 4 seed for the final.

I'm fascinated by the action of the turn, especially during medley races. He is just ridiculous in that aspect.

Most of the Americans keep making huge ground on the turns.

I'm enjoying Phelps domination this year more than the other Olympic games.

I'm also enjoying the laboring of him trying to get out of the pool.
