We had a stretch in July down here of about 16 days in a row over 95. Reached 100 twice I think, and it's unusual to actually hit triple digits here.

I don't mind it with low humidity.

But when its very high with these temps, it's awful...especially the work commute.

I don't mind it, but I wouldn't want to be at an outdoor wedding when it's 95. I was in one 5 years ago and it was no fun.

Been over 100 a lot this July. Heat indexes over 110 frequently.

I don't particularly mind it normally. We had XC workouts yesterday and in the heart of the afternoon my son and I detailed an SUV. We sat in the afternoon sun at the Reds game Wednesday and going tomorrow when it will still be 96......but the feels like 110 crap, that's no Bueno.

As do I. Was hanging out at a friend's yesterday, drinking beer and chilling in the pool. Good times. At least until I got woke up at 6 a.m. by thunder so loud it took me a moment to figure out there wasn't a local explosion, lol.

Probably true; I know it comes from when I was young. I remember in high school, going outside in the middle of summer at 2-3 p.m. to run a couple miles. Not in the morning or evening, but when it was as hot as possible. And it was by plan to do it that way.

lol same here. No better feeling than working out, sweating your ass, and then hydrating up with some ice cold drink.

I feel the pain auto was talking about with the commute to work though. I normally drive to work, but when I take public transportation and then eventually have to walk 10-15 minutes in full jacket and tie it's miserable. I hate sweating when I don't want to sweat.

Really Ironman, you're using WTH?

low 70s here without a cloud in the sky. Pretty much perfect, and easily worth the cost of living.

I never wrestled, but when I was preparing to leave for basic at Ft Benning in July I wanted to acclimate myself to the extra heat so I would run around 4-5pm long sleeve shirt and sweat pants in June/july when it was in the 90's. Few times people I knew stopped and asked if I knew it was in the 90's!

We now have a pond in our yard, so this weather has become 100x more bearable that it ever has before. Jumping in the water and sitting on the floating dock feels great in this shit.

Our pool is 91 degrees. It still feels good in the evening unless you are swimming for exercise. Once you get out the house is freezing.

Any mosquito issues with the pond?

I would die for a day with less than 80% humidity here. It is truly a swamp.

I enjoy working outside in this type of heat spent about two hours in the garden … little sweat make you feel like you’ve accomplish something. Plus a ice cold beer taste so much better …
