Yea it seems like credit cards are much safer than debit cards if fraud ever occurs. You don't need to pay off your credit card until the end of the month. It is like a free loan for 30 days at 0 interest. Paying it off every other day would be time consuming and 0 benefit.

Most banks will give provisional credit for any unauthorized charges on debit cards, so I don't really get why people get so paranoid about using their debit card.

I'm not worried about getting the money back per se, but the money would be tied up for awhile and seems like a bigger hassle. At the end of the day, I see no advantage of ever using a debit card. Credit cards at least get you some sort of points or cash back.

I have a Chase credit card but I can remember the last time i used it.
I have a Credit/Debit card for my checking account if i dont have it in my checking account I dont have it to spend or i'm limited to spend.
this account has a nice balance in it so i'm confident I will not fall short on funds.

I don't know. $78 doesn't go as far as it used to in the 50's.

You're right, dinner tonight a Palombo's Restaurant cost me that much just for my wife and I. Vote Trump and everyone will be able to eat out more ...

That's a good point - I COULD de-link my credit/debit card from my savings to minimize risk of being compromised....but as others have said why not use the CC and get points? Responsible use of a few credit cards also helps your credit rating (not that it matters to you).

From what I have read, there is a bit more protection and guarantees that come with a credit card vs a debit card when it comes to fraud.

To me the biggest difference is if someone uses your credit card then you can stop that, file the claims and eventually get that credited off and no harm, no fould.

A debit card though..someone gets that use they can wipe out all your $$ you have and leave you with nothing. You MAY eventually get that back but in the mean time you are out all that $$$

for the same reason as I and many others, because as terrible as Hillary is, Trump is infinitely worse.

She did back in January. But like most women, including her and her sisters who are Republicans, are firmly in never trump camp. Her mom and dad and brother are still firmly pro trump though.

Hillary has succeeded in turning Belly into the conservative version of Isadore, where he just parrots the same thing over and over and over again. Great.

1) there are no republicans in Chicago. Good joke.

2) no one believes you. Your wife is a Trump supporter. Don't be ashamed of her and make up that she "changed" after you said trump supporters are idiots.

Perhaps not changed but has said more outrageous, disgusting, racist things. Or have you been asleep in the last 6 months? Lol
My wife is Republican like her family, but she's not religious like her family. So Trump was the only candidate that wasn't a religious nut. She switched to Kasich after giving up on Trump. Now she's voting for Hillary just to not have trump.
