$5 million to rename Gene Smith's position at OSU. They really will do anything for a dollar.

There's so much talent at OSU right now and coming in that I think we will reload quite nicely and be a championship contender right away.

We may very well lose to Oklahoma but it's so early in the season I don't think it will matter for the CFP rankings.

I know this is a 2016 thread...but does anyone else get a little upset watching these Senior Bowl highlights of Braxton at WR, and EVERYONE raving about his routes and how great he looks? HOW WAS THIS GUY NOT USED MORE?!?!

But did he look as good as they stated? Or just a lot of fluff a la John Gruden?

I watched it live today. Braxton was ridiculous. His routes are so good and looks like he's been doing it for years.

I don't know how to embed...but if I could...i'd show you the half dozen videos of him just abusing the DB's. Tim Beck should be retroactively fired for not using him more...he looks like a legit slot WR...not a QB who is trying a different position. There's reports of 2nd round for him. Pitt, Pats, and someone else apparently love him.

I don't think you will find anyone who thinks OSU OC's did a good job this year.

Braxton was basically non-existent past the Vtech game.

This is true, and is becoming even more obvious with all of the talk about Braxton and also Nick Vannett at the Senior Bowl. Between those 2 plus Thomas and Marshall they'll have possibly 4 receivers/TEs drafted in the first 4 rounds and you would have never thought it based on the offense this year.

Hearing this pisses me off.

What pisses me off more is that we figured out the adjustment of moving Warinner to the booth after it was too late.

running routes without having someone hit you in the face after you catch the ball is a little different

Yeah..... but I'm pretty sure the scouts don't care about that right now.. nor will they till the draft.

I have nothing but love for Braxton. He was a GREAT buckeye. He had a lot of struggles with injuries but he never complained and just kept working. It could not have been easy to sit out and watch his team win the title. All he did was come back and try to be the best receiver he could be. I hope he is drafted high and I will be an instant fan of whatever team drafts him.

I'm pulling for him also. One of my favorite Buckeyes ever, all class.

Wouldn't mind 3rd to Browns in the slot with Gordon and Benjamin outside, Barnidhe at TE

Could be another big recruiting Monday for the Buckeyes by the end of the night...Haskins (the QB in the '16 class) won MVP honors at USA vs. Canada high school game last night...seemed to have a good day passing to Hardman, would be nice to bring him in too.
