I like that OSU is bringing in some bigger receivers. Victor will need to add some strength, but has the frame for it.

Hope this doesn't become a pattern.
If we are good enough to have that many kids come out early, the program is in good shape.

Spent way way way too much time on 11w, bucknuts, and twitter today.
Pretty awesome day for the buckeyes.

Browns would kill to have the size of receivers osu has... hopefully they're going to soon!

Helluva Day Urbie. 2017 thru 19 are going to be phenomenal years. We just gotta get thru 2016 without going 8-4 and playing in the Motel 6 Bowl.

There's talk that the plan is once JT leaves to try and change the offense into more of a pro style system using haskins and the big receivers to make it more balanced

Any other big names we are waiting on from a commit standpoint? I do not follow recruiting all that closely....

Rashard Lawrence 5* DT is down to OSU & LSU, but considered a virtual lock for LSU. Best chances seem to be Mecole Hardman 5* ATH and Damar Hamlin 4* CB.

@11W
Mike Vrabel is interviewing for the San Fransisco 49ers defensive coordinator job today.

Edit...

Sounds like the expectation is that Corey Smith will get a 6th year.

Did we pull an offer from a recruit because of this?

No just means we won't be able to offer one to someone else. Which is likely why Bruce will not be given the go ahead to commit and thus will stay with his Miami commitment.

Seems like Bruce would be a great fit at OSU...a true H-Back/slot type...extremely fast and quick 4*. But, I'll obviously trust in what Urban decides to do.

Ok thanks. I wasn't quite sure what they meant when they said there wasn't room for him now.

The fact that we are replacing 19 starters is gonna be interesting. If OSU makes the playoffs, this could be Urban's best coaching job....including Last season (2014).
I didn't think it was that many starters. We return Barrett, Elflein and Price on offense. Raekwon and Conley on defense. I may be missing some others. I thought we return 6 starters though and plenty of players that go PT.

I think the locker room is fine. What reason would any of the players that left have for staying another year (except for Marshall, still not sure why he declared)? There is up to 5 projected first rounders out of the players that declared and several others that will go in first four rounds. These guys have accomplished almost everything they could at the collegiate level; might as well go pro now while your stock is as high as it is.

Tyquan Lewis is the other returning starter.
