Does Manziel have to run a half mile every time he drops back to pass

What did they expect to happen? Can't throw the ball over the middle of the field with no timeouts and 10 seconds left lol

Manziel looked ok today, but the line was doing him no favors.

Like I said on old FW's thread, 100 yards rushing for a QB is fine if you're in college but 13 of 32, with a lot of misses, is unacceptable.iclfan2;1771533 wrote:Manziel looked ok today, but the line was doing him no favors.

Browns won't have to, unless the Jets piss down their leg against Buffalo (possible as it is in Buffalo and you have the Rex Ryan revenge factor), Pittsburgh is out.slingshot4ever;1771531 wrote:Hopefully Browns can keep Steelers out of the playoffs

Looked ok? LOL did we watch the same game?iclfan2;1771533 wrote:Manziel looked ok today, but the line was doing him no favors.
Manziel missed open receivers all over the field. He's not a damn franchise QB. The sooner you guys understand this, the sooner we can start talking about drafting an actual QB with our top 2 pick.

That would be the definition of ok. Did some ok things, did some bad things. Nowhere did I say he was the franchise qb or I don't want to draft one. It's his 6th start ever or something, the hell do you expect?

I did not like JFFs footwork today, and that as much as anything caused errant throws.
I Asked a a few weeks back what would Manziel have to do the last 4 weeks for you to hand him the keys for next year ...and most of you guys wouldn't commit to numbers, saying you would know it when you see it. I have to admit I did not "see it" today . The game was there for the taking and bottom line, he didn't get it done.

What is Hackenburg the answer? Honestly there are no QB's worth a damn this year. Keep him as the starter, let him improve his fundamentals and get an actual game breaker on offense and it'll improve considerablySportsAndLady;1771541 wrote:Looked ok? LOL did we watch the same game?

Foot work is a big problem for him, but I believe as bigger problem is his weak arm. It really showed today. How is ever going to win in Cleveland in December or January when he can't throw with a breeze?HitsRus;1771552 wrote:I did not like JFFs footwork today, and that as much as anything caused errant throws.

Is Connor Cook the answer? Why not either take Bosa with a top 2 pick or trade down and get Elliott or Treadwell

I am just making fun of your struggle with your lack of vocabulary. Not sure if any QB is the answer. If Bosa fell to #2, I would have a hard time passing up on him. I think one of the top 3 QBs in this draft fall to the 2nd round, and neither of the QBs have distanced themselves from each other.Classyposter58;1771557 wrote:Is Connor Cook the answer? It's unfortunate pettine wanted to be a petty fuck all season and didn't let Manziel play from week 8 thru the end of the season. Four meaningless games is not enough time to evaluate a QB who hasn't started 16 games. I am not footwedge, but Manziel has looked better and more confident each game. It might not show up in the stat sheet, but the improvement has been there. At the very least he seemed to be the only one who showed some emotion after losing.

The definition of an ok QB is not what manziel was today. He was awful.
