To the surprise of no one, Trich made bad $$$ decisions such as hiring his brother to be his personal assistant for $100k. lol

T-Rich had family issues that impacted his entire career. He wasn't calling the shots with his money and was supporting many. many people.
oops. Just read the article. I don't doubt it at all.
He moved his extended family to Cleveland when he signed and once he went to INdy they were still in NEO for a while. They constantly peppered him in INdy for things they needed to the point that he disconnected his phone. It's a sad story about a guy who genuinely is gullible and a truly nice guy that was overwhelmed with the whirlwind of coming from no money and getting a pot o gold dropped in his lap.

He's not good. I'll guess McCown is starting by week 6.

Would rather see Kessler. And he'll probably be injured before week 6. An in case it came out wrong, I wasn't advocating for RGIII, but it was obvious from camp that Hue handed him the starting job from day 1.SportsAndLady;1806135 wrote:He's not good. I'll guess McCown is starting by week 6.

I don't think Hugh Jackson is 'that type of coach..........'.Ironman92;1806218 wrote:Due to injury or sucking?
I think RGIII has a lot left in his tank and will do well in Clev especially if Barnidge isn't a 1 year wonder and Gordon comes back strong. Not sure why so many dismiss him. Browns MAY have found gold with that signing.

I'm not surprised... You don't move to get this guy just to have him play back up to a second tier QB.
But can he stay healthy? I doubt it. I'm thinking we'll see all 3 QBs this year.

I have been told Lane Johnson will be suspended 10 games for PED violation. His 2nd offense. #Eagles

Every year, they said Carson Palmer was trash.........maybe Hugh, see's something he can build on. Im willing to give him and RG3 a chance. The last "hopeful" QB we had was Johnny Manziel. We see how that turned out. At least this one doesn't have a drinking and drug problem. (that we know of)
A few years ago there were some of us (not me) dissapointed we did not make a move for this guy. We shall see.

After the redskins gave away 3 first round picks for RG3 I don't recall any smart (I.e not footwedge) crying about not going for RG3. Iqqy (crybaby troll who isn't a Cleveland fan) and the said tried to troll Cleveland regarding not getting RG3, but that's it.Go4alOngbOmB;1806547 wrote:Every year, they said Carson Palmer was trash.........maybe Hugh, see's something he can build on. Wanted to point out that a lot of ppl, myself included, thought JFF was trash from the beginning and not hopeful at all.

RG3 could lead them to a quality 6-7 win season or he could tear his MCL in the second quarter of the first game. Those are your polar possibilities.

I had to eat crow his first year because he had a good rookie season but the reality is I was proven right.
Don't even get me started about JFF. Dude was trash and besides Weeden and TRICH was the worst draft pick ever of all time not even close.

I was never sold on RGIII even during his rookie season. I was very happy when i realized the Browns didn't make the same trade as the Redskins. I was just very disappointed they used their picks to draft weeden and trich (traded up for him) SMFH. I would rank Trich the worst of the 3 you just mentioned. He was a fucking RB that the Browns traded up for and was traded after one season. Weeden and Manziel were both late first round picks at least. JFF is going down the path of Ryan Leaf, and Weeden is surprisingly still employed with a NFL team. I have a feeling that will change soon.sleeper;1806653 wrote:There was massive relief from me when I found out we didn't trade up for RGIII.

I think McCown just wants to collect a paycheck. RGIII is pure trash but I will take him every day of the week over the worst NFL player ever, JFF.Commander of Awesome;1806820 wrote:http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2016/08/why_robert_griffin_iii_really.html

Also allegedly the Cowboys want McCown and are offering what is considered an overpay.
I'll take a first round pick, nothing less. Fuck the Cowboys.

I'll take any player drafted in the last 30 years over JFF. If I was an NFL GM, I'd instantly ban permanently any coach, commentator, player, or operations person who ever gave even the slightest of praise to JFF.like_that;1806660 wrote:I was never sold on RGIII even during his rookie season. The Browns have been garbage for years but I've never been more embarrassed to be a Browns fan when JFF was in uniform. Thank the lord that he is no longer on the team.

If the Cowboys are willing to give up any pick with McCown you take the deal in a second. Browns needs all the picks they can get.sleeper;1806824 wrote:Also allegedly the Cowboys want McCown and are offering what is considered an overpay.
