Well I dont think its fair to call him a bust. He was a 7th round pick. I just thought he had potential and gave us something we didn't have (height and speed) and was getting a ton of pub in camp/preseason. Then Browns cut him for no reason, he gets picked up by Minn and has a decent season with them. Coming into last yr, he was #1 on their depth chart making the browns look even more foolish. Granted, he then got hurt and never got going so prob a wash, but that doesn't make it a smart move by Farmer.Azubuike24;1796461 wrote:Well Charles Johnson was a colossal bust and probably will get buried in Minnesota. I thought that would've been a much bigger mistake than it was for Cleveland.

He's trash, that's why he got cut. Get over it.Commander of Awesome;1796462 wrote:Well I dont think its fair to call him a bust. He was a 7th round pick. Clarify. Johnson was a bust, compared to what people expected he would do last year. Based on where he was drafted and his route to an active roster, he's not a bust...he's a "never should have."

...and no, Johnson was fine and got completely overshadowed by Stefan Diggs. More so, the Vikings drafted another WR in the first round this year. And this is the least attempting and least prolific pass offense in the NFL.

I'd still take him over any other Browns WR except Benjamin or Pryor last season.like_that;1796470 wrote:He's trash, that's why he got cut. Get over it.

Browns cut Hartline. Thought team would keep him around to help the young WRs during camp, but he was certainly on outside looking in.

Kinda sad to see this but honestly we are all in on the analytics and the quicker we turn over the roster the better.Commander of Awesome;1796755 wrote:Browns cut Hartline. Thought team would keep him around to help the young WRs during camp, but he was certainly on outside looking in.
I'll be surprised if Joe Thomas isn't going either before the season or during once a team needs an LT for a playoff push.

Well, we are officially 8 Sundays away from the Regular Season (thank GOD).
Do I lay the house on the Vegas Under of 4.5 games won (honestly , that is screaming to me to bet.......something. Maybe a born child to be announced later.....but THAT seems like the easiest winner bet of the year, coming from a Browns fan)
Or do I drink the Kool-Aid and say, we have improved on offense and Skill positions and the New coach has us aimed towards a future in this league this season?

I like the new regime, and the new coaching staff. But this team this year just doesn't have talent in positions where you need talent. They have no skill position players. I would go under and feel very confident about that.

September 9th I do believe is kickoff, (regular season) so I got a little antsy. It will be 10 Sundays after today. (with the 11th being opening Sunday)Al Bundy;1801517 wrote:By 8 weeks, you mean 11 weeks
I watched the Cleveland Gladiators Arena game today and then a CFL game.....that at one point was 4-0......which just confused me because I didnt SEE a safety.....and I sure didnt see 2 of them. I have the itch, it needs a scratch!

With the NBA over, this time of year gets pretty miserable for sports. I wish the Olympics were about four weeks sooner.Go4alOngbOmB;1801544 wrote:September 9th I do believe is kickoff, (regular season) so I got a little antsy. It will be 10 Sundays after today. (with the 11th being opening Sunday)

Buddy Ryan has died at age 82. Led one of the great defenses of all time.

Cop's throat being slit definition: A cop having his throat slit.
See it isn't that bad at all, we are just judging Crowell based on his reputation and that fact that everyone hates the SEC.

Ugh... was hoping to get Duke late in fantasy drafts this year... Looks like that won't happen now.
Crowell is an idiot and the Browns just need to cut him.
