When the coaching staff gives you instructions, you follow them. Blatantly disregarding them means you can't be trusted to follow directions.

Possible that Manziel starts again before the end of the season. But if they are 3 weeks in and he's not starting, I think there's a good chance that the organization may feel he's not worth the headache moving forward and will just cut ties with him after the season.
