Consider, however, what they want. They don't seem to have a problem with dying for their cause. Seems they'd rather die than fail.
So what about a group who has the ability to manipulate them and then getting their funds either frozen or finding a way to mess with them. Seems like a threat to their plan would be a bigger problem than a threat to their lives ... at least in their view.
Now, I obviously wouldn't say this is something Anonymous could or will do, but why not let an organization bound primarily by ideals and not geography fight an organization bound primarily by ideals and not geography?
But what I was actually referencing, anyway, was a comparison between Anonymous and the average ITG who has been spouting the stereotypical nonsense.

You and I would fear a power that can end our lives invisibly and instantly from the sky as soon as we sit down in the seat of a car. Trust me ISIS is not shitting their pants over Anonymous as they have far worse to fear. I am guessing soon they will have the French army to fear as well.
You're not wrong when you state what you and I would fear, but you and I don't have the same motives and priorities as these guys, demonstrated by the operations they carry out having an often low survival rate.
