Charles Gaines is such a Mike Pettine player. No amount of failure is too much because Pettine likes him. He is the Jim O'Neil of our defensive backfield.

Forward progress is determined where the ball was when he was driven backwards.

Plus, Pittsburgh gained 9.5 yards during that last set of downs, never did they gain 10 yards after the first and goal.
