I need some new shoes. I've been wearing my vibrams, but I would like something different (I think) for squats and leg press's. Also managing the stink of my vibrams is becoming a hassle. Bonus: I would like a shoe I can wear 24/7. My first thought were some minimalist running shoes but had no luck.

Thoughts, suggestions?

I have wide feet. That is the other issue. I had some chucks before and found them skinny.

I can not wear chuck due to lack of arch support.

I do need a shoe with somewhat of a toe to do pushups.

On the topic of P90x, I forgot how much I hate doing Yoga the day after doing shoulders.

I just tried some new protein, well new to me, and thought I'd share.

BSN Syntha 6 is easily the best tasting protein I've ever had and I've tried a LOT. My friends were always hyping it up and telling me to give it a go, but I just never gave it a try. I got a can from DPS the other day and it lives up to the hype.

The Syntha 6 is tasty but I noticed a nasty aftertaste in the stuff I got. I rarely, if ever, drink whey anymore. I'll occasionally have a casein shake before bed but two meals pretty much fills me up.

Syntha 6 is a combo of whey, isolate and casein. I like to mix it up. I also keep ON Casein handy for night shakes.

Got a pair of these. A good all purpose shoe and alternative to my stinky vibrams, when I don't want people smelling my foot stench.

I noticed my Vibram Bikilas are getting kinda funky. Have to baby powder them and sometimes hose them down with cologne. :p I bought a new pair (different model but still Vibrams) for $55 but haven't broken them in yet. They do collect the odor.

I've gone the gold bond route. Works well betwen washes, but a wash doesn't even get the stench out. I still wear them to the gym and hiking, but not to dinner or other social settings. I like the Merrell's because i can easily wear socks.

The best part is the toebox is huge so my fat ass feet fit nicely inside. Only barefoot type shoe to do so.
