Do any of you guys use the meal approach plan? I've been looking this stuff over and the portion approach seems like it would be much easier.

What level of the nutrition guide do you follow? I'm right on the borderline of level 2 and level 3. I'm not sure which way I should go with this.

I do the portion approach. Today was day 60 for me. I am amased at how loose my clothes are fitting. I have a pair of jeans that in November I couldn't even put on and now they are loose on me. I am also amased at how flexible and strong I have gotten already. Day 1 I had a hard time touching my toes and doing both pull-ups and push-ups. I now can do as many push-ups as they do in the work-outs and am doing a lot better with pull-ups too. Favorite workouts for me are the Plyometrics ( killer workout ) and the Kenpo ( lot of fun and time goes by fast for me ). When I am done with this I am going to try my neighbors Insanity 60 program.

Yeah 2 or 3 times :P

I have the recovery drink because the guy I bought it from is just so freakin sweet.....and it tastes pretty good. But really, a lot of people actually drink chocolate milk. The carb/protein ratio should be something around 4:1.

HAHAHA YOUR TOO KIND!!!

I'm not sure which level I should follow. I did the calculations and I fall into the Level III category by less then 5. I dont want to under eat or over eat while I am doing this. I was looking at the Level III diet and it seems like alot of food, I'm wondering if going with the level II will matter.

Thats what I figured. Level III just seems like its too much food. I hope to do my fitness test(assuming my chin up bar arrives) and grocery shopping this weekend. I'm trying to figure out what my "last meal" is going to be before I get started on this.

have your last meal 2 days before you start. start your diet the day before, but only take in about 1500 calories. otherwise you'll feel like shit the day you start.

I just started day one yesterday. Today was the first day that I used the whey powder. According to the nutrition guide I need 1/3 a cup of protein powder per serving. It seemed like alot of powder, do you guys usually take that much or do you use less? The powder that I purchased didnt come with a scoop so I just used 1/3 cup measuring cup and mixed it with some skim milk. Just trying to get an idea of what others who have gone through this program have done.

It depends on what the protein asks for. The protein I use calls for two scoops (48g of WPI) but I use 2.5. It all depends on how much protein you want to take in...

Getting ready to get back on the train....I did P90X last year for about 5 weeks. I lost 14 pounds in 5 weeks and my clothes fit so much better it was amazing. We are doing a "biggest loser" contest at work with a pretty substantial prize for the winner, so I'm going to get back at it. I'm just coming off a weekend of the flu, so I'm giving myself another day or two to get back to 100% before I jump back in.

To the people who say that the diet calls for too much food: I thought that too, originally. But I ate pretty close to what level III calls for and actually lost weight. It defied logic, but it happened.

Good luck to everyone...
