That Bucks/Celtics ending was ridiculous.
Monroe hits the game-winner to go up 2 with 1.0 second left...or so you think. Somehow, both teams foul in the span of 0.4 seconds, Olynyk hits 2 FT's to tie it and Middleton hits 2 FT's to win it. That shit has to drive coaches nuts.

Watched the Wizards game tonight, both teams looked bad. Sad that someone had to win it. Just bad basketball.

Anyone watching much of the festivities this weekend? I watched about a minute of that "celebrity" game, saw Kevin Hart being a douchebag, and turned it off. Fail on me for turning it on in the first place. The three-point contest should be pretty good.

Well the Draymond/Kevin Hart staged 3 point contest was kind of awkward. Staged for the trophy presentation at the end, and they end up tying.friendfromlowry;1781267 wrote:Anyone watching much of the festivities this weekend? Gordon was robbed. I'd like to see a HORSE Dunk contest...or one where they have 2 NBA'ers and 2 Youtube regular guys. Some of the guys off the street come up with the best dunks.

You're right...no one not in the NBA can compete with them in a dunk contest.Spock;1781402 wrote:yea....bring in some Joe from the street for all the contests
I'd rather see something I've never seen done before vs. Will Barton do boring pointless things that we've seen done. The days of superstars in the dunk contest are long gone. The mainstream guys think they're above it, might as well get the best dunkers available.

sat here and watched the all stars come out and besides about 5 or 6 players.......the rest could be selling used cars and you would never know.

When I was in college on spring break in Panama City there was a streetball slam dunk contest that ESPN was filming. The winner got like 50k. Andre Iglodula's brother won it when he jumped over a full size car on a dunk. I'll have to try and find it on YouTube.

I liked that the West didn't allow to just happen, but the East should've been going to him the last minute every possession.gerb131;1781468 wrote:Should have let paul george get the scoring record

Example of a "pro dunker". Dude posted this 11 weeks ago and its about the same as Gordon's 360 dunk under both legs and over the mascot, only no mascot was involved and this guy is 6-1.

The all-star game is a waste of time. Basically just players launching the ball down court and laying it up or chucking 3 point shots.
I was hoping Paul George would break Wilt's 42 point record just to solidify how much of a joke the game has become. Pretty incredible in the no defense game that a player hasn't scored more than 41 since Wilt.
