You actually are expecting a perfect game. The NBA doesn't call every foul; they attempt to control the game from getting out of hand and giving an entertaining game on the floor. If the refs called every foul consistent across all aspects, the games would last twice as long and we'd see a lot of boring free throws and a lot of players fouling out.like_that;1794785 wrote:Nobody is expecting a perfect game, but they can start with consistency. JR gets a flagrant for boxing out and inadvertently hitting Milsap in the face with his elbow. Meanwhile Drummond threw the people's elbow at Lebron's throat and got nothing.
When players like Mike Scott, Dion waiters, Steve Blake, and many more garbage players are getting more FTs than Lebron there is a problem.
It's one of the reasons Golden State is fun to watch; the refs let them get away with obvious moving screens on almost every play, only occasionally calling the foul. If they called it every time, everyone would foul out and the shots wouldn't fall.
