Cavs may not be done dealing, they are now trying to package picks 31 & 36 according to sources.

Might be able to sneak a protected first round pick for next year.

Probably get LMA if that happens.

Christmas and Pointer should probably go ahead and get their passports ready. Unless they want to play for the charge.

Boy, some Cavs fans are dumb...driving in this morning there were callers losing their minds over the Cavs trading Tyus Jones. The hosts were trying to explain the guaranteed salary issue but the callers were having no part of it.

Tyus would have been a great back up pg to kyrie but I definitely get the move. I do like the Christmas pick. I think he could be a solid rotation guy

It's too early to criticize the move. If the Cavs don't get something decent out of Haywood's contract to address depth issues and/or we lose a big time FA(TT/Love/JR[?]) then they are in trouble.

However, is Tyus Jones NBA ready? I don't think he would make a significant impact from day 1.

With this new NBA TV deal, they may not get teams jumping at that Haywood contract.

Teams right now want to clear cap space to make FA moves NOW. There could also be desperate teams before the deadline. Cavs will for sure get something out of Haywood.

And as far as Jones goes, I'm not a Mo Williams fan but if they are going to have to pay the luxury tax regardless, why not bring in a proven guy to spell Kyrie versus overpaying an unproven rookie like Jones?

When I saw the title I was smh but if you read the article, Haynes says chances are very "slim" he'd leave again. You think he was hated the first time for leaving? After that big speech, SI article, etc upon his return, he'd be absolutely crushed by fans & media.

Yeah, the media is really running with this now. The first article popped up and now there's something about this littered all over my FB feed. SMDH
