I think we win 4 of the next 5. This team is a lot better than people think especially if we can keep the core together.thavoice;1736597 wrote:Dude that is a lot and if every thing would have to go right. 1 is a given I believe, 2 is a fairly good possibility. Any more than that I just dont see happening.

If we don't keep the core together, I think the Cavs only get one.sleeper;1736599 wrote:I think we win 4 of the next 5. This team is a lot better than people think especially if we can keep the core together.
The core = Irving, LBJ, TT/Love.

If we keep both Love and TT as well as LBJ/Irving, this team might challenge the Bulls record of 72 regular season wins. I just don't see them losing more than 5 games all year.

Although James is as good as it gets right now and can dominate, 4 of the next 5 I think is just too perfect of a scenario. Be happy with the 1, and ecstatic with anything more!sleeper;1736599 wrote:I think we win 4 of the next 5. This team is a lot better than people think especially if we can keep the core together.

You sound like an old man. I will only be ecstatic if we win multiple championships. One is expected, multiple is the goal.thavoice;1736605 wrote:Although James is as good as it gets right now and can dominate, 4 of the next 5 I think is just too perfect of a scenario. If/When LMA signs elsewhere, very real possibility they decide to blow it up, and tank a year with Lillard being the main focus. You could see them want to move Batum, Matthews, Afflalo (UFA currently).Dr. KnOiTaLL;1736542 wrote:I wish we could figure out a way to get Wes Matthews in Cleveland. That would give us another great perimeter defender, as well as a guy who can know down the 3.

I don't see much changing in the way of roster..... Probably be a really good start to get a FULL season in with the players we have? I know a lot has been said of health and lack of it. But a lot happens when a unit can last the season together, first team and bench players. Learning to work as a unit. Just my 2 cents.

Thought this was pretty cool view of warm-ups of Game 3. If you know someone who was there in the stands, you can even tag them.

Have seen similar things at NFL games. Buddy went to that one.....and I was trying to sell a ticket to that game on here but no one wanted to go..... Probably could find him but not worth the effortsportswizuhrd;1736685 wrote:Thought this was pretty cool view of warm-ups of Game 3. The entire NGBA* will do whatever it possibly can to see that LeBum doesn't win another championship.

Anyway let's not let the deadbeat derail the thread. The kings are shopping Rudy gay to clear cap space. I'd trade Haywood for gay straighten up.

Kings seem to be ready to move on from Rudy Gay, so that they can sign Rajon Rondo of all people.
Haywoods contract works Straight up for Gay, this would be the ultimate Home Run deal if it some how came to fruition. If he would accept a bench role, would allow us to limit LBJ's minutes, and give him days off through out the season. Our Small ball lineup would be nasty.

Upgrade on J.R. Smith for sure. I would think SacTown sees Gay as a bit more valuable.like_that;1736876 wrote:Anyway let's not let the deadbeat derail the thread. The kings are shopping Rudy gay to clear cap space. I'd trade Haywood for gay straighten up.

If the Cavs keep their team together I think they can win the next 4-6 seasons.

Kevin Love opted out of his last year on his contract and is now a FA.
Kind of surprised he would do this given the cap is supposed to increase dramatically after next season. It would have made more financial sense to opt in and then get a bigger pay day next year.

I wasn't expecting it. I was expecting them both to opt in and go for a big deal next year.Automatik;1737103 wrote:Wasn't this expected? Same for LeBron?
However, there's no controversy with Lebron. He's in. I expect Love to re-sign with the Cavs but there is a small chance he leaves.
