Also explain why some say he should be inducted into the HOF? Are all "great role players" entered into the HOF discussion? Anyone who was old enough (not classy) to watch the NBA from the early 90's through the mid 2000's will always remember Horry. Not many people are going to remember the other "great role players."
a winning DNA LOL GTFOOH. You're probably the guy that want teams to draft a QB cuz "they just know how to win" too.
Horry was always a solid player. You discounting that is laughable.

Clifford Robinson, Kevin Willis, Charles Oakley, Derek fisher, how long do you want to go.. All had long careers. All were great role players.. all must have been clutch !!!!!
Fisher was clutch. Please try again.

So now he was a solid player, but not a great player? Look at these career numbers 7 ppg, 4.8 rbpg, 2.1 apg and tell me that is a guy you would fap to have on your roster regardless of name recognition. Horry was signed onto teams for his clutch factor, especially the last 4-5 years of his career. You're delusional.

Clifford robinson was an all start and 2x on the all defensive team.
Kevin Willis was all nba and an all star.
Charles oakley was an all star and 2x all defensive team.

Thanks for playing again.

Sure as hell not because of his stats. He was a great role player because of his clutch factor.

Love is a Top 10 player, it's the coaches faiult and coaches/GMs wont/sign players based on even a perceived clutch factor.

Things I've learned form Zwick today.

Let's move on.

I did not insert myself into the love argument. I was just giving you shit for saying "clutch factor" doesn't play a role.

Because I don't think it does matter. everyone of those players had reasons for long careers other than being clutch

Everyone of those players weren't given max contracts (even though some of them were all stars) either. If you are given a max contract I don't think expecting you to hit some crucial shots in the 4th quarter is too much to ask.

I know know what you're saying. You're frustrated with Love. He misses too many shots. But the whole issue is .... That's gonna happen. He's not playing his game any longer. And we can't expect him to because his game doesn't fit on this team. I think he's doing fine for what we're asking him to do. Which is not play his game.

Even more reason to trade him as soon as possible. Let him find himself on a garbage team while the Cavs actually bring someone in who can win a championship.

Sleeper hasn't watched much of Wiggins this year, that's for sure.

I was very high on him coming out. He's shown flashes, but overall he's meh. Slacks off a LOT.

I was very high on wiggins and upset we traded him. I thought he had HOF type potential. Hasn't come close to playing to my level of expectations.

This was me as well. But no way I'd think about trading love back for him now.

The only time I've ever heard mention of Horry and HOF is when someone makes the dumbass comparison of two players and one is not as good because of lack of championships and then someone chimes in that Horry > Magic or Jordan

Sounds a lot like Love although we know Love is worthless and Wiggins isn't getting paid $22M a year.

Found this in about .22 seconds. There are tons of these, heard all the time on TV too.
